Need help from fellow Horsematchup betters at BOL
Can any of my fellow horse matchup betters on betonline help me out. I had a horse from the 24th that was scratched at the gate. Whenever that has happened before, I believe the race was graded as "Canceled" due to scratch. In this case it was graded as a "Loss".

Their line manager is adamant that they always grade them as "Loss" and won't change the grading. How is this normally graded for you?

I just watched the replay and he definitely was not in the race. Am I missing anything here?

Looking at this race (Race 6 from Woodbine 10/24):

My bet was on "Liverpool Man".

    Scratched horses:
Royal Bourbon (Also-Eligible) , Jocularity (Stewards) , Liverpool Man (Veterinarian)

    Their response:
The horse was taken off at the last minute and there for is not in the lineup.

That constitutes as a loss as he started.

If he had never even started the race it would be a push.

He was in the line up and taken out on the last minute this counts as starting in the race.

Actually, five minutes after I posted this and going back and forth for 5 days they changed it to "Cancelled".

Just one more reason to double check your horse matchup gradings.

Their (BOL/LV) customer service has become truly a mess. I just received an email from a Justin that my horse matchup (which was in a race that was moved from turf to dirt) was graded as a loss because all wagers have action and he sent me a link that says...
        • In Horse Match-Ups when a Race is moved from Turf to Dirt or vice versa all wagers are void

I have another situation in which they deleted a winning $500 wager and they email me back telling me that the wager was voided with no other information provided. I keep emailing them over what is obviously a mistake on their part but they are not responding.

BOL constantly gets this wrong. They recently tried to reduce a top 20 golf bet due to the dead heat rule. Problem being there was a tie for the 21st spot which didn't involve any top 20 golfers. This also took several days to resolve with a BOL supervisor insisting they were right. Absolutely embarrassing for a top book to be that clueless on basic rules that involve golf and horse racing. Hard to believe that they are this inept, making it likely it's an intentional attempt at theft.
