While I think the casinos (and sportsbooks) have gone too far in trying to restrict the ways in which we can use bonuses in a way to skew the scale even more in their favour, this definitely isn't a case of them trying to pull one over on you. Terms are clearly laid out.

Based on your play and story I am almost certain this isn't the first case of you trying to maximize your EV from a casino bonus. That isn't "wrong" - you're allowed to try to profit off of promotions, however you then can't cry foul when you don't read all the rules and miss something as important as this.

I have played in casinos online in the past making stupid mistakes to try to increase sports winnings. Should have just been happy I had winnings but I had to always (re)deposit or take a casino bonus to win big money. I got in the habit of reading these just to check RO's once I fully understood the RO. Believe me, in the beginning I never fully understood RO and would get surprised my $20,000 in BJ action only counted as $5K (just an example).

Does it suck? Yes. Is it unfair? No.

I def feel your pain. I have been there but not to the level of winnings you have had.
I understand, but why would I think to look at the "wagering contribution chart" for bonus rules. I was playing slots and did not care that much about the relative weighting of the games. I mean, why put the bonus rules in "wagering contribution chart?" I recently checked Bovada rules as well, same thing. The bonus rules are inside the "wagering contribution chart."

I mean, really? So all the people who are telling me the rules are there and I should have found them wanted me to read the "wagering contribution chart" to find the rules even though I knew I was going to play slots all the way?

And the "terms of service" are not linked to anywhere on the bonus rules. And when I did read terms of service, it's NINE pages long and then in a tiny link that says "help." Why would I think I needed more help than all I already read.

And does an A+ organization get a pass for not informing their affiliates of the change and allowing false advertising? And this was brought to their attention at the beginning of June and they still are advertising clearly "No Maximum Wager." Is this honest? Trick the player to freeroll?

It seems they are actively trying to hide this rule. Is that fair?

Also, would an honest organization not simply write: for bonus terms and conditions, click HERE?

I respectfully disagree that the terms are clearly laid out. They only seem clear once you know where they are located (hidden). I spent a lot of time looking for the rules just to be sure and did not find them. I do not believe that I was in error. I read all the rules for the double up and the terms of service. To find the bonus terms I would have had to click the "wagering contribution chart" to find bonus rules (why would I do that) or click help at the very bottom of a long section after reading 9 pages.

        This is just not reasonable.

So you're not buying his story of this being his first time gambling online? Lol

It is so bizarre how hung up you are on this KasinoKing place having incorrect marketing when you didn't even use them as an affiliate.

You are the only "first time online gambler" ever that was so worried about bonus rules and the potential for a bonus to be revoked that you made sure to read every nook and cranny of the site before depositing.

It seems to me like TopNotch is right here. This isn't your first rodeo and you were looking for a place where you could run up a bonus without a max wager. That's why you are so zoned in on a couple major affiliates advertising no max wager and that's why you went through all the terms of service with a fine toothed comb. You're right that they are purposelly being discrete about their bonus rules and that it's shady. But the "first time gambler" and "discrimination for being black" bit is made up BS

i would look at the wagering contribution chart to see how their games count toward the rollover. def recommended to do so every single time. again, i learned the hard way so i am familiar with this. it is not unreasonable.

Respectfully, so I'm supposed to have read all the rules and know there is maximum wagering rule but my reading the specific terms of the specific bonus I received was too much for me to have supposed to have done?

The kasinoking issue is so important in my opinion because kasinoking website specifically says no maximum wager. This was brought to Slots.lv attention over 2 months ago and still not addressed. Does Slots.lv not communicate with affiliates? But this is ok and I'm somehow in the wrong for not finding terms under misleading headings or in a tiny link at the bottom of a large section, hidden in a 9 page terms of service that are not even linked to in the specific (or any bonus) rules.

I'm not really sure why there is more attention to the way I type and write than the fraudulent way that Slots.lv advertises (and continues to advertise) their bonus rules and that they basically freerolled me and every other player who is misled by them.

Is their behavior and actions here really ok?

By the way, after reading all their terms that they sent me when they confiscated my winnings, I have played in the exact OPPOSITE way that they describe rule breaking behavior except for the 20% rule, which is not listed anywhere and contradicted by major (as described here by forum members) affiliates.

So is no one concerned that the sister of a top rated sportsbook (Bovada, which by the way has the exact same rules and format in listing their terms) is:

              1. Completely hiding their terms and conditions and allowing false affiliate advertising

              and

              2. Continuing to do this well over two months after this was clearly brought to their attention.

The honorable thing for them to do is restore my balance and update their website.

Just my thoughts after all of these posts. I am just responding straight forward, no malicious intent or trying to be rude.

                1) You keep saying the 20% max wager rule is nowhere to be found but people here have told you otherwise based on screenshots and just going to their website itself. I wish it was in your favor but it is not.

                2) I really am not sure if KasinoKing is responsible for telling you about a max wager rule. Have you mentioned that to KasinoKing? I think you deciding to play at a site would be your own risk.

                3) No one is surprised because as you play online you learn to always read the fine print when it comes to rollovers and bonuses. Nothing shocks many of us anymore. You can't just take a bonus and claim the rules are hidden so pay me my money. This is how they operate to not pay in situations like yours unfortunately.

                4) They will continue to do this cause this is how they always do it and no reason to change. They have the rules stated. It is the player's responsibility to read thoroughly before depositing and playing.

"completely hiding" is unfair on your part and bordering on slander

I feel for the OP thats a lot of money and the terms are harsh. But you asked for opinions and you got them.

If I did not read thoroughly through all the rules I would agree, but I did read thoroughly. I think the rules are only reasonable to find once one knows where to look. How "wagering contribution chart" = "bonus terms and conditions" I will never agree with.

I am holding Slots.lv responsible for not updating their affiliate sites, especially since it is now almost 3 months after they were made aware of this. What does that say for Slots.lv?

And why is there not a direct link to terms and conditions on the bonus rules page? How hard would that be to do?

You might have read rules but you did not read thru bonus stipulations for rollover. Just because they do not have their website set up in a way you think is fine does not make the bonus rules null and void.

I stumbled across this today. https://www.casinomeister.com/forums...innings.92647/ they told him the same exact thing everyone here did. At least he dropped the discrimination angle.
