    5dime vs betonline
I just wanted to give a brief review.
Betonline is superior in eevery way.

    Bitcoin Deposit :
    -5dimes average 1.5 hours
    -Betonline 5mins

    Mobile site:
-5dimes us hard to navigate and limited live bet options

-betonline is easy to use and the mobile site is alot more modern with tons of live bet options

    Payout
    -5dimes 24 hours via bitcoin
    -Betonline 3 hours

You only mentioned only payouts. 5D is a solid option... Have accounts with both and have faster paying options so rarely use Betonline.
          1. Pinny/Bookmaker
          2. Betfair* (best promos with *1 rollover)
          3. 5dimes
          4. Gtbets
          5. Betonline
Lists are subjective but shows how it depends on what you bet on. 5dimes jumps to no.1 depending on what I'm betting

Exactly. The good books all have their pluses and minuses. What OP doesn't mention about 5Dimes is their huge array of props. For example, when it comes to MMA, no one can match their selection.

BetOnline is indeed a great book though.

Hour and a half on average to deposit bitcoin at 5dimes? I thought mine was bad, I’m always over 15 minutes (wonder why?) but usually less than an hour. Either way it’s absurd, I could see the wait for a new BTC depositor but I’ve been using BTC at 5D since they started accepting it.

Not to mention they freeroll you on the deposit. No other book that I know of does this.
Also, I've never understood why there is a wait at all at any site? The moment they see the unconfirmed transaction they should fund your account and let you start placing wagers. If the transaction doesn't confirm within a couple hours then just cancel your wagers. I've never had a btc transaction take more than 2 hours. I've sent hundreds of transactions. Usually takes about 5-15 minutes for the first confirmation.

If your fee is high enough it's not an hour and a half. I never wait more than 15 minutes.

Same. I use blockchain.info/blockchain.com. They give you the option to send it "priority." costs an extra .25 cents usually. I get my first confirmation in 15 minutes or less everytime.

Depending on the deposit amount, 5Dimes sometimes waits for 6 confirmations instead of the more typical 3.

Exactly, that is part of the issue. They can credit at 1 confirmation or 12 confirmations depending on where the price of BTC is headed at that moment. I always send as priority according to blockchain but I've still waited over an hour at times.

Yes, and as @ace7550 mentioned, the priority fee on blockchain takes care of that just fine.

LOL--the advantages of being BTC exclusive at 5D. BOL currently giving an extra 5% on all BTC deposits while 5D skimming all BTC deposits

Exactly. Even prior to the promo, BOL was giving an extra 1/2 of 1% above market on btc deposits. Meanwhile, 5D trying to skim a similar amount off each client's deposit.

When depositing at 5Dimes, if you send more than the exact amount of BTC given on the deposit page, you will always get the deposit calculated at the time of receipt instead of time of order.

it seems like it cost me 8 to 9% whenever I buy bitcoin? I am still losing when I deposit and only get 5%

You can buy bitcoin for 0.5% fee on most trading exchanges like Kraken or CoinbasePro. Or ~ 2% at full service exchangers like Coinbase or Gemini.

5% top off is a nice gesture on BOL’s part. It takes care of any small fluctuations and with no rollover (except the standard 1x on any deposit) is a no brainer. I opt out of Heritage 10% BTC standard deposit bonus because I don’t like the added 5x rollover. If BOL keeps promoting it maybe it will become an industry standard, kind of like ALL of the books would reimburse you for W U and M G fees at one point. 5D had no problem with that , not sure why they are taking BTC back to the stone ages.

So you are saying if you send more than your deposit amount , 5dimes will credit the deposit for the BTC price at time of receipt even if the price goes up? That makes sense but doesnt explain why if you send the amount specified and do not meet the 15 window why 5dimes doesnt account for any price increases, only decreases. Most likely because someone has to manually credit the deposit. We pay to the purchase Bitcoin, we pay to send bitcoin, they should extend the 15 minute window to an hour and stop this petty nonsense. Or offering the 5% top off would solve it as well.

They don't have to give an extra 5%. They just need to credit you the correct amount when it arrives. If they are going to credit less if the btc price goes down than they should credit more if it goes up. Seems pretty straightforward to me.
