    Bitcoin Wallet and Deposit Question
I've been depositing at bookmaker for over two years from my same bitcoin wallet. My friend wants to make a deposit but doesn't want to deal with buying bitcoin. He asked if I could deposit $500 for him from my wallet into his account and he would give me cash. I said yes but then I got to thinking...
I know 2 people making bets from the same IP address is bad and might get you in trouble. But what about 2 deposits going to 2 different accounts from the same bitcoin wallet? Would they care about that?
    Anybody ever done this?

Not certain. Never heard of a problem and doubt there will be one.

But no need to take the risk if you are concerned.

Create a quick throw away wallet at blockchain.com/wallet and send it there first before going to the book.

Or even better, help your friend out, insist that they go spend the 45 seconds to make the new wallet account, send them the $500 and walk them through doing the deposit themselves.

That will help them plus make sure they don't keep asking you to do it for them
    .

They can do whatever they want. Regardless of whether you verify two different IDs, if they decide you're multi-accounting, then you're screwed.

I've made deposits for friends on several different occasions. Never ran into any issue. That being said, once cash app came about I just directed them to that and they felt comfortable with bitcoin after that.

Even if you use a fresh new address from your wallet, they could still possibly (in theory at least) match up change addresses where leftover sats are sent...but it's not all that likely I'd think.

Best to do what Opti said and use a fresh new wallet as an intermediary just to be safe, besides tx fees are usually quite low.
