From what I have researched and/or found out, the following is policy on each site:
Bovada
-1x deposit rollover (i was told this was specifically for BTC deposits, not sure about other deposit methods). The 'risk' counts toward rollover before being able to withdraw.*
*my issue with this policy is it is stated NOWHERE on their site or in their TOS. I had to bark at live chat support before she even mentioned this was policy and when pressed to show where it is mentioned in their TOS, she referenced me to section 4.8 (which specifically mentions NOTHING about this, but is supposedly umbrella'd and therefore assumed to be part of their policy). It really bothers me a lot when books just don't flat out say this and wait until you deposit and retroactively claim its their policy. Even worse, I don't really see how we as customers have any recourse.
Bookmaker
-1x deposit rollover on ALL deposits.
On each graded bet, will be taken in to consideration:
Action graded a “Win” or “Push”: Only the lower amount between the risk and the win counts towards the rollover.
Action graded as “Lose”: Only the amount at Risk counts towards the rollover.
*This policy irritates me the most. They are basically just forcing you to risk infinite (or as close to neutral/negative EV as possible) and freeroll you to the max. If you deposit $1000 and bet on a 10/1 favorite for example, only $100 counts toward your $1000 required deposit-based rollover. So you'd have to bet the same event 10 times and hope you don't lose until the 10th time (in which case you do, you'd still be a net $100 loser). If this policy is in place to prevent money laundering as I presume it is, then I fully understand the point of being forced to play and risk your entire deposit. However, to iterate beyond that and restrict it to the lesser of the 2 amounts is borderline criminal and just another way for them to sneakily increase house edge. The reason such a policy exists is to prevent bonus whoring and ppl exploiting those systems. To extend it to regular deposits where bonuses aren't redeemed just to increase house edge to me is beyond ridiculous. Additionally....if you make futures bets, those futures bets don't count until they are graded (which may be many months away in most cases) which also creates a chain reaction of built up rollover for any deposits/withdrawals you may make in between the day you place the futures bet and the day its graded.
5dimes
-1x deposit rollover on ALL deposits.
generally same policy as bookmaker. see above.
Nitrogen
-NO rollover necessary for deposits.
Nitrogen is by far the best site as far as I am concerned if you don't account for the high vig compared to their competitors. They have the best cashier BY FAR (deposits and withdrawals are done easily and transparently). They don't force you to bet your balance if you choose not to at any point. Excellent customer service. They clearly state limits for their lines so you don't have to guess how much to deposit and potentially get stuck with being forced to bet unused funds when you're capped.
TLDR:
-bovada isnt transparent but just risk your deposits and you can withdraw
-bookmaker and 5dimes use shady tactics regarding deposit rollovers to try and increase their edge
-Nitrogen has highest vig, but is the best book from a customer service standpoint
-all books (except for Nitrogen) make you guess what the limit is so you're depositing blindly (another way for them to increase their edge because they force you to play entire deposit before cashing out)
What is your guys experience would this and anything else worth adding? Please let me know below!!!
