In Aug 2018 I made my annual trip to Las Vegas to place some futures bets on baseball and the NFL. The smaller bets that I won I sent in the slips by registered mail and received a check by mail. No complaints. One bet that I won paid about $3000. I did not trust the mail so I decided to cash the slip in person at the Las Vegas sportsbook during my August visit a few weeks ago.
I asked them if they could draw up a check for $3000 and they said no , they have to pay out in cash. Why can't they write up a check when I am there in person.
More importantly if I make a big wager on a long shot to win the World Series and I win $50 000 are thy going to give me 500 one hundred dollar bills. How would I get thru airport security with that money.They might think I am involved in shady operations.
