issue with bookmaker

hello I'm having an issue with bookmaker.eu over a live soccer wager.
before I go into the entire thing and post screenshots one thing would be extremely helpful.

if anyone can either tell me what exact time (PST) the 2nd goal in todays Montreal impact DC united MLS game was scored (8/31) or tell me where I can find the official time of the goal I would be extremely grateful.

obtaining that information will make this case extremely black or white and remove all debate.

As someone who bets on soccer without watching it, here is the info I have, hoping it can help. The second goal is listed at 23’ which, if my knowledge of soccer is correct, means 23 minutes after the start of the game. The start time is listed as 8:30 Eastern Time, which equals 5:30 PST if my calculations are right. Then that would mean adding 23 to 5:30 which equals 5:53. Hope that helps.

23' means the 23rd minute, which starts 22 minutes after the match begins. If it kicked off at 8:30, that suggests it occurred between 8:52 and 8:53.

You can get the Opta game logs to find out exactly when the game kicked off, and at what second the game occurred. If you had a bet voided, you could look at the time stamp, figure out the offset of your book vs Opta time, and determine the order of your bet versus the goal.

If a past-post issue, this will resolve it. If a danger zone issue, it's trickier.

Has any MLS game ever kicked off on time?


According to Bet365 monitored live activity, the match kicked off at 38 mins past the hour. Goal 1 occurred at 57 mins past the hour and goal 2 was 6 mins later at 3 mins past the next hour.

Why don't you just post the bet and the reason Bookmaker gave to you for the cancel and we can maybe help you work out the situation?

ya the issue is danger ball.
I placed a wager on MTL +.5 at 1-0 and while it was pending approval dcu scored to make it 2-0 and the bet should have been rejected.

I live bet there quite a bit and they will take a good 30 seconds to accept a bet and if the odds change in your favor they reject it and if odds move against you they accept it and that's something I've come to accept as the cost of doing business, but this was pretty shady.

the supervisors in the wagering dept are both incredibly rude and apparently not very knowledgeable dude didn't even know what danger ball was.

I'm somewhat over it as it seems highly unlikely I'll have any success getting this overturned I just made the post in frustration.

fwiw it was a 1k bet not like I'm complaining about a $20 wager.

the bet slip says the bet was placed at 5pm (PST) and from the official impact page it seemed as tho the goal was scored at 4:59pm (PST) but it's obv not official.

I also understand that the live betting is automated and it's not like a person is sitting there watching the game and deciding whether or not to accept my wager so whatever it's just unfortunate that their automated system doesnt handle danger ball situations better I just have a feeling had I placed a wager on dcu -.5 based on the 1-0 live line at the exact same time it would have been rejected but of course I have no way of proving that.
