Sportsbetting.ag graded bet as s loss although it must be canceled due to their rules
    Hello everyone!

Sportsbetting.ag graded as a loss my bet on MLB White Sox vs Blue Jays game on 18 May - https://www.mlb.com/gameday/blue-jay...ox,game=567286.
I bet 1st 5 innings total over 5.5. The game was stopped bottom of 5th inning due to rain and result (4-1) was finished. Full 5 innings were not played.
Sporstbetting.ag rules say about such situation:
    "
    • First 5 Innings Baseball Lines: All wagers on Money lines are Action or Listed and Totals are always listed pitchers. All wagers on baseball first 5 innings will be decided on the basis of the score at the end of 5 full innings. If a game does not go 5 full innings, all first 5 innings wagers will be canceled, and stakes refunded.

    "
The game didn't complete full 5 innings so my bet must be canceled and stake refunded!
I wrote to support with all that explanation some times and ask them why they ignore their rules. But they only answer "It was graded as a loss as the game got into 4 and half innings and the home team was winning as per website rules, based on this the grading of the bet is correct and it will stand".

Is anyone there who placed bet on this match 1st 5 innings? What you bet on and how your bet was gradded? I suspect they graded bets on U5.5 or Wite Socks as canceled and bet on O5.5 or Blue Jays as a loss.

Sounds like someone in there is using the full game rules instead of first half.

If you send in a complaint form we may be able to get a manager to review this for you.

Ant23, I absolutely agree with you but my bet is still graded as a loss.
Complaint is filled and Sportsbookreview is in contact with me already.

Good 4 you.....just let this be a lesson and look for other outs because something this CLEAR shouldn't take a 3rd party intervention to be resolved. I'd take my $$ and play elsewhere. Tons of books with A+ ratings so you can choose whichever 1 or 2 you like. Good Luck

You are 100% right that a 3rd party should not need to get involved with something so blatantly obvious.

This happens so often with BOL/SB/LV.

They either have the dumbest customer service team in the entire industry, they do it on purpose and hope no one notices, or they just don't give a shit.

These type issues happen all the time and are impossible to get rectified with this set of books, when every other book it takes like 5 minutes to read their own rule and make a correction.

              It has to be this.

For 9+ years now I've seen many complaints about BOL and their sister sites regarding simple customer service issues its not funny.

I used to use BOL regularly up until about 2011 and then just got fed up with their customer service dept complete uselessness that I basically gave up and stopped using them.

Sportsbetting debited stake amout to my balance today. But the bet stay graded as a loss in history.
Obviously Sportsbookreview complaint has an effect and help to resolve the problem.
                Thank you, SBR!

Anyone that uses that book deserves what comes to them. One of the worst books out there.

No, the book itself is fine. They put up lines early, offer decent prices, take big bets and they pay.

Their weakness is their customer service dept and the reps that they employ.

If you need a problem fixed and ask the CS dept for help you can expect frustration in large doses.

This is very dissapointing, unless you complain via sbr BOl and their sister books will do their best to screw you. Its beyond my understanding why are they doing this shet all the time.

I played there a few years ago. It took them literally FIVE months to send me a check payout. Never again. They suck.

Humans can make mistakes when grading dozens of events in a small amount of time.

are you sure you're not thinking of sportsbook.ag or sportsbettingonline.ag?

i've never heard of anyone waiting that long from betonline/sportsbetting

                              Correct.

The issue isn't that a mistake was made, as all books do at times.

The issue is that these mistakes are easily correctable at almost every other book but virtually impossible to get someone with common sense to get this done, at this set of books, without help from a complaint form here.

That means your customer service stinks if they can't fix or run a simple issue up the chain of command.

No reason ever should this need to be fixed by a complaint form here unless customer service is completely incompetent, which seems to be the case way too often at this set of books.
