Have had same experience with Betboro as others. 12 weeks now, 6 weeks of ridiculous stalling and 6 weeks now no reply. 5000 Euro Balance.

Made complaint with curacao-egaming in which they told me they had reached out to betboro and had a reply from Betboro saying my account was still under investigation. Never a reason given. That was month back now and Curacao egaming have been unresponsive to my recent emails.

Have a complaint with SBR.

Anyway contacting Betcontruct might help?

Seems there are a lot of people in the same boat with Betboro. I would be happy to pursue legal action and share costs with others if this is even an option. Anyone have a little more expertise in this area or can offer insight?

Don't think I am understanding you correctly. You mean Betboros company origin is Germany and therefore legal action only possible from Germany?

This is an interesting case. Many questions come to my mind:

1) The address "Borigstrasse 9 Berlin" does not exist. The real name is "Borsigstraße 9, Berlin". So the question is: Is it only a typing error or does Webmedia Development NV/Betboro pretend to be registered under this address but in reality they are not?

2) Offices registered under this address are only virtual offices aka letter boxes. It doesn't say anything about the real place of jurisdiction.

3) How is it possible to obtain a UK license if the legal form is a NV (Naamloze Vennotschap) which can be only registered in the Netherlands (or in some former colonies of the Netherlands like Curacao) and if the office is not a physical one but a virtual one/letter box?

4) Online betting is basically illegal in Germany (it's quite a complicated situation which is hard to describe in a few words). The fact is Betboro has no valid gambling license in Germany. This means there is no legal basis for legal action against Webmedia/Betboro in Germany. Hence the lawyer will reject your request.

5) I think slayer registered at Betboro.com. The latter is registered and licensed in Curacao. Only customers from UK can register at Betboro.co.uk which has this odd German virtual address. So I think the correct place of jurisdiction is Curacao anyway.

6) @slayer: I think there is nothing you/we can do. Game-protect.com pretends to be a mediator between the player and Curacao lawyers who says he wants to help the players with legal action in Curacao but I'm not sure if he is reliable or just a swindler. He has many negative reviews in the Bitcointalk forum. At least he offers a no cure no pay basis if the amount in dispute is high enough.
Another user posted an episode of a BBC podcast about gambling in Curacao recently: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0007bwl After I've listened to this podcast I have abandoned all hope to ever reach anything against a gambling company in Curacao as long as there are no radical political changes.

Go to askgamblers and make complaints. There is a rep there from Betboro answering queries, obviously same bullshit but you can at least rip them to shreds on the forum and it helped with my case getting at least partially paid.

Also askgamblers seem to only deal with casino issues. Just say you have a sportsbook and casino issue and played both so at least the thread goes live and you get a chance at your funds

I have been dealing with betboro since last year to get back my money.
Curacao accepted my complaint, but never got back to me.

IBAS accepted my complaint but it have been more than couple months without an answer.

They answer me just using the normal public email address info@gamblingcommission.gov.uk

They will tell you that they will only take your feedback though, not address your complaint themselves. The only thing I am aware that they will react directly to is when a bookmaker does not offer a real dispute resolution option to you, like IBAS. :\


Asking them how long IBAS has to address your dispute under their UKGC license might be a good way to approach it and get them talking to you.

Hei any update on your money?
It seems like I'm in the same boat, I deposited around 1700 and earned 1600 for a total of 3300.
For the past weeks they've been asking me for documents and denying them for whatever reason so it seems like they don't want to pay me.

What would you do to get paid? Honestly if I get the 1700€ I deposited i might just take them so I don't have to deal with this shitty company anymore. It's my own fault kinda since I usually completely verify my accounts and do some withdrawals to make sure the book at least pays before depositing more, but I didn't do it this time.

Yes, IBAS accepted my complaint on 09.07.2019 but I don't see much use.
It has been more than 6 months and no response from IBAS. I emailed them repeatedly but no response.
