    5 Dimes 50%
I just noticed they are doing a 50% Freeplay with a 5X rollover for new accounts. I am not eligible for it unfortunately but just wanted to point it out to the newbies. 5Dimes is a MUST for bases and a 50% offer with a 5X rollover isnt too bad...

Is this their standard offering for new accounts? I thought it was like 20% from what I remember?

I'll pipe in on this, since I just moved from BetJM to 5dimes:

The 50% match is only up to $400, and only if you do **/**/Click2Pay. There's a 5x rollover, but the freeplay only shows up in your account after the rollover. Also, even if you hit the rollover, you're not allowed to withdraw to put your account balance below your initial deposit before 30 days are up (i.e. if you deposited $100, and worked your way up to $250, you can't withdraw more than $150 until 30 days from deposit).

Anything above $400 or that comes in via different methods gets the 20%.

    Pretty good deal, though.

I would just stick to the reduced juice if there is that kind of restrictions then.

If you have any sort of long-term success at 5 Dimes you should prepare to get your limits cut.

5 Dimes is a great shop for the smaller or losing bettor with their huge variety of wagering options offered.

However, for the serious bettor, nobody beats Bookmaker or Pinnacle.

Keep in mind that once your balance reach $5000 you might be automatically excluded from bonuses (particularly from reload bonuses) even if you historically deposited more than withdrew

I wonder if a withdrawal will signal a reduction for me? If so Ill just hold on until the end of baseball...

What is a typical limit with cuts??? $50?

I finally joined 5dimes for the first time yesterday with a Western Union deposit (went through hell to get that done - long story), and called them tonight because new accounts must cash in ANY bonus within 24 hours of a new account deposit. I asked the rep about their bonuses, including free play, reduced juice and gambler's insurance. Background: I made a $500 deposit and plan to gently cultivate that into a larger bankroll. If I lose my bankroll, I don't plan to put more money in, but you know how that goes.

My free play bonus would have been $100 with the usual 5x rollover. The gambler's insurance was twice a year at 50% free play for net losses. The reduced juice was limited to $500 maximum risk, but it seemed like the easy winner for a long-term player. Who doesn't want reduced juice? Over the long haul, that will pay off many times over compared to $100 in 5x rollover free play. But then, free play doesn't mean that much to me; I'm used to having a lot of free play bonuses at one of my other books.

Based on the 5dimes customers in this forum, it seems this should be my money management strategy moving forward: Bet smaller bets. Build BR gradually, but don't fear making a big leap once in a while. Withdraw often. Stay under $5,000 BR no matter what.

Would that keep me in the clear long-term?

any good 100% "sign up" bonuses that give you $20.?
Betfair had that. I like those.. You sign up and make a crazy bet with the $20.
