Hey all, I requested a wire transfer 2-21-19. I find out my place does not accept international transfers. I immediately told them. Here we are a month later and still no remedy. I went ahead and got another bank for the funds to be transferred to. I’ve been getting the run around about waiting for the funds to go back to their broker for over three weeks now. Be weary of this place.

You mean your bank? Are you US ? I have always had no problem at least so far with them. I actually have a $5000 withdraw i am waiting on . It has not been that long waiting though i do not count the weekends . So normally a week i have the money in my account. But at least so far i have had no issues with my bank accepting it.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I’m US. My tiny credit union is smaller. I went ahead and opened up an account with a bigger bank. The problem is they’ve been trying to get the money back from their, “broker” after it was discovered my CU didn’t accept int transfers.

That sucks has to be it is a smaller CU . If it does make you feel a little better i have at least with the bank i have had never had an issue getting the money. And it has been several times $5000 there. Once i won $15000 so had to do 3-$5000 amounts in a row about i guess 15 days apart each time . Got all of them without a huge wait. I think once you get a bigger bank you will have success. Of course if i end up not getting my $5000 i will definitely voice it on here. Or when i do get it i will also let you know. It has only been like 4 days though so far including the weekend.

Thanks for the reassurance Cap. I think my only real concern/gripe is how long it’s been since I told them the int transfer would be no good and how long it’s taking for them to get the returned funds. I’ll keep you posted on outcome.

Where did you get a SWIFT and/or ABA code from for them to even be able to try sending a wire to your credit union?

Incorrectly addressed wires often take a few weeks to returned and confirmed btw. Not a GTbets thing. You don't need to worry, the money will not disappear.

Yup! Just wanted to add that after joining a bigger account that accepts int funds GT has made good on the withdrawal. It was done very fast and smoothly. Thank you GT.
