    5 dimes screw job
got a big bet in when 5 dimes errored on a line. they had Clemson in the championship game, as a dog at +11 and a line of -145. i bet the farm on clemson at this price. it was accepted but 3 hours later they negated the bet and warned me! they said it was a bad line and they have the right to negate bets!

If you thought you were going to get away with that, or that they would notice and still honor the bet, you obviously need to buff up on rules, regulations, and the power sports book has to cancel wagers. Even here in the US, books can cancel wagers that were made out of error.

you were the one trying to screw them, not the other way around

books have bad lines every day, either the +/- are flipped or lines are just flat out wrong, don't bet them... you knew +11 should be -245 instead of -145

you're lucky they didn't wait for the game (after you bet -11 on the other side and lost) to end to cancel it

Not in Nevada. Any jurisdiction that allows bookmakers to change or cancel a bet is corrupt.

When a line error occurs the operator can cancel the wager after informing the governing body.

Nah not if they're regulated in the US. And precedent was set in New Jersey when Fanduel sportsbook had to honor a bad price.

The sports betting company will pay out $82,000 to a New Jersey man who placed a $110 live bet on the Denver Broncos against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

That’s not stated regulation or precedent, necessarily. Good publicity to avoid the masses inability to use common sense and act honorably knowing there was a error in the line, yes, but not regulation or precedent.

If you like live betting then this is going to happen because things occur so quickly. It’s my opinion that the wager shouldn’t have been honored.

LOL, so you don't think Nevada screws with wagers as they come in via the app?? Change lines...etc. Spare me the BS about them having the gaming commission because the moment you go that route you lose the out.

Obvious line error. 5D had every right to cancel prior to kickoff.
