This is unacceptable. I have to cash out/hedge my bets elsewhere because 8-10% juice on the biggest games is crazy, the worst in the industry.

cause those lines are about as fresh as my high school gym shorts, oddsportal is never ever accurate ESPECIALLY ON LIVE LINES and also what are you betting that Donald Trump gets called an asshole on twitter at 1.03 odds LMAO

Some of the bigger groups they cater to are getting into live betting. They are feeling the effects.

Live betting markets are tricky, high vig, and often way off where they should be.

Figuring out where they should be is where some of our business has been heading for a few years now.

It is the future of betting and one day sports books will hand out touchscreens to patrons so they can live bet from their seat.

They were accurate because I was online on other bookies. B365 had 5.0 on the over and 1.16 on the under. Pinnacle had 4.2 on over and 1.15 on under for the Manchester United game, simply unacceptable.

Live lines from an api source are rarely accurate on the oddsportal site, the odds change faster than you can bet them on the site themselves. I would not trust oddsportal for live lines, how many times you tried to step on a line on a book and they say ok and then it cancels when you click bet cause the line moved. I know you dont like my advice but dont trust the oddsportal lines for live action especially live action that moves fast

It is like I said, you think this is the first game with high juice? It's always like that, feel free to go to Pinnacle to see for yourself.

Live betting has never been their strong suit.

They probably know what they can handle vig wise better than most books though.

It's their way of protecting their business. If you don't like our lines, go bet elsewhere. Their model based on the weight of money cannot work in live so their real edge to sharpen their lines based on getting info from every client is gone.

They aren't making you bet the lines Gaze, so I don't see what's unacceptable about it.

Live betting everywhere is juicy. Also they won't ban you for beating them, so there's that.

It's more difficult for a bookie to offer accurate odds inplay. I would strongly suggest Betfair Exchange for any inplay bet.

Comparing Bet365 to Pinnacle? Yikes! Yeah, Pinnacle live wagering is juiced up, protecting themselves from over exposure allows them to continue to offer many sports pre-game with less than 2% holds, 10k or higher limits, and oh by the way, if you are consistent winner, they'll still take your action. Bet365 will limit you to $5 a game if you even show a hint that you might be able to win. Hence, Pinnacle is a bookmaker, Bet365 is a marketing company, big difference.
