Man, that sounds like a massive ripoff, unless I am missing something.
Thye are looking to collect 5.3 million in entry fees and only offer about 2.2 million in prizes.
Plus they want you to pay $10000 and then only credit you $5000 for betting with.
Can anyone explain how this isn't massively bad value?

honestly think all DFS tournaments are rip-offs.
I think since you are getting $5000 back, the 5.3 million is reduced to half and they probably account for the prize pool + the leftover bankroll at the end of the tournament .
In a sense, they can actually lose alot of money.

Also, a majority of the contestants are from qualifiers so they have to account for 3 day hotel in NYC area plus $1000 per person
