It wont work.. It is very complicated to get Vienna landline number and it would cost more than 100 €.

@OP: I don't believe you that you don't know anyone with landline number
I too live in a country, where you need to be stupid or really really old to have a landline number. Why TF would you need a landline number these days?

if you call them from landline, that means you are there

if you call them from a mobile phone, they cant track it and you can use roaming

Well, she is from Austria and 50% of the private houshoulds in Austria have a landline number according to official statistics. She said she asked 14 people and none of them have a landline number. If she asked 14 people under 35, well, that probably explains it. But I'm sure that she would find someone, if only she asked someone older, maybe a relative or whosoever.

Maybe you got me wrong: I do not say that it's right and justified the bookie asking for a landline number. But it would be easier just to arrange that number instead of spending time with complaining and wondering if it's legit or not.

It is kind of unreasonable, but short of allowing them to connect to your device on a fixed internet connection, and check that it's really located in Austria or wherever, requiring a land line call is probably one of the few 'simple' ways they can verify physical location when they suspect a proxy is being used.

The OP might be able to try just sending them a photo or video of her holding todays newspaper outside a recognizable Austrian landmark and asking if that is enough to convince them she really is in Austria right now.

I contacted them again via Chat and said that they are not allowed to request a landline, I really tried to find one and couldn't find it..
The man on chat spoke with his manager, I waited.. and he said I will be contacted on email or mobile phone, they no longer request a landline.

Yesterday they confirmed on the email that I will soon receive my outpayment.

Today I got on my PayPal 100 Eur (initial deposit), instead of 658,97 EUR !

I gave them everything what they have requested: ID, ID with my face next to it, address verification, screenshot of my PayPal account, we spoke several times on the phone, and at the end they want to take my money.

Ugh. It sounds like they have simply refused service, closed your account and refunded the deposit.

They do have that option in situations like this where KYC can't be completed. :\

                    Is your account locked now?
