Intertops $20 Fee For Bitcoin Payout
UPDATE: There is no longer any fee for Crypto Currency withdrawals at Intertops.

Anyone else being charged $20 fee for a bitcoin payout at Intertops? This is an outrageous fee when the industry standard is no-fee bitcoin payout.

This must be new. I made a handful of bitcoin withdrawals in 2017 and was never charged a fee. Looks like my last withdrawal was in August -- if there's a fee they must have started charging it between now and then.

          Very disappointing.

Yes, it is new. They disabled bitcoin payouts entirely for a while and when they came back, there was this fee. There's a thread about it on here not too long ago.

It was in response to the high Bitcoin miner fees which were almost $20-$30 at some point in December. The miner fees have gone down since to much more reasonable numbers, but looks like Intertops, acting like an airline, hasn't gotten rid of the fee in response.

Not quite MrPapa. It did happen at that time. But it was due to slow and unreliable processing more than just the fee spike at the time AFAIK.

It was due to the 3rd party processor they were using delaying payments when prices were volatile.

The fee is supposed to ensure payments are processed more reliably ongoing.

under the payout tab with Intertops it says a bitcoin withdraw is free.

I noticed the last post on this thread is over 3 months old.

Have they stepped away from the $20 fee and reverted back to it being free

                    can anyone confirm? Thanks

Its free now. They did the 20 dollar thing for a short time when the miners fees were thru the roof a few months back

Did they want to pay us back the $20 in fees we lost when sending them the Bitcoin deposit?

Seriously.... they actually have GM's at these places? They absolutely have no brains. Want to stick you on both ends.

Man i would never pay a fee on a bitcoin withdrawal. Fees are high enough to get it from wallet to wallet to account as it is
