    betfair(9wickets) grading +1/-1 question
Arsenal FC(Arg) v LanusLanus +1 I took Lanus +1 and final was 2-1 loss...it was graded loss....it should be push right? or is betfair(9wickets) different then all other books and exchanges with +1 and -1 handicap wagers ?

With european handicap you have 3 options (1, X, 2), with asian handicap you only have 2 (1, 2).

If your bet was european handicap & score is 2-1 --> you lose (the winning european handicap bet was X)
If your bet was asian handicap & score is 2-1 --> push

Your right..just got this my fault for not paying attention.
            Just got email

We would like to inform you that after reviewed upline found that this Bet ID: 8297598 confirm is Lose status, because member bet on Back (Lanus +1), result for this match is 2-1, therefore it is lose.
If member bet on Back (Draw) Lanus +1, then this ticket only will win. So the profit lose display is correct. There is no any money credited to member account and no any fraud for this ticket.
            We apologies for the inconvenience.

Betfair offers both handicaps...if it's not specifically labeled "asian handicap" it's automatically the 3-way European handicap you are betting. 9wicketss is the same.

Lesson learned...it’s only place I have ever used with European....i just assumed +1 meant you get a goal

so if you take+1 or -1 and the game ends 2-1 the game is for this wager a draw right? so draw would be win ticket only

                    Example:

In this case, if Persopolis wins by 2 or more you would win the Persepolis -1 (back) bet.
A draw (back) bet here would win if Persepolis would win by exactly 1 goal.
If the game ends in a draw or al Wasl won, the Al Wasl +1 (back) bet would win.

                    Another:

If Crystal Palace were to win by exactly 1, the draw (back) bet would win.
If Crystal palace were to win by 2 or more, the Crystal Palace -1 (back) bet would win.
If the game ends in a draw or Millwall won, the Millwall +1 (back) bet would win.

A draw wins, depending on which team got the +1 or -1 obviously.

                      Good work Alfa.

People seem to have more trouble getting their heads around Euro handicaps than Asian handicaps quite often.
