Has anyone ever had a live bet cancelled with Bovada? I hit on a live bet that was +1600 I only put $10 on it but when I logged back into account it said wager was canceled. When I called Bovada the rep stated “oh it was a system error”. What kind of b.s is this? Just wanted to see if this has happen to anyone else and was there any resolution?

#2If it was a palpable error then all books have it in their terms these will be cancelled.Originally posted by jrjay93Has anyone ever had a live bet cancelled with Bovada? #5I get what you saying but it pissed me off because awhile back I was live betting and wager same bet 3 times in error and called them to cancel out error wager and rep over the phone told me once a live bet is locked in it can’t be canceled. Now that the shoe is on the other foot all I get is oh I’m sorry but that was a system errorOriginally posted by OptionalIf it was a palpable error then all books have it in their terms these will be cancelled.

#6Well I know it wasn't Michigan football as they were up 28-0 so I assume you mean Michigan basketball who were 22.5 pt favorites over Central Michigan? +1600 early in the game as a 22.5 pt fave?Originally posted by jrjay93It was a live bet with Michigan +1600 when they were losing at beginning of game
A thread was made to complain about them cancelling this? Cmon man.Comment -

#8I get the frustration. Books do seem to have it all their way. But if it was an obvious error and cancelled before the game it is a normal rule and not much we can do. If it wasn't cancelled until post game, then they should payout at the "correct" odds.Originally posted by jrjay93I get what you saying but it pissed me off because awhile back I was live betting and wager same bet 3 times in error and called them to cancel out error wager and rep over the phone told me once a live bet is locked in it can’t be canceled. Personally I think books should be more pragmatic about it and at least offer a small freeplay when they stuff up, to take a little responsibility and basically 'apologize' for their error. But I think most see the tough stance on it as needed to avoid attracting shot takers..Comment -

#9It was a live bet made during the Michigan basketball game. I actually made two bets one was on the line which was +18.5 and the other was a moneyline bet. The +1600 bet was canceled once Michigan came back and took lead but the other bet was canceled until game was over. The only reason I was mad about the situation was due to prior incident were I made a live bet and the bet was made 3times in error and was told once live bets are made they can’t be canceled.Originally posted by OptionalI get the frustration. #12How when their system obviously glitched before when I was live betting and made a bet 3 times and I called to have the other 2 bets canceled I was told live bets can not be canceled and are final. Now from their stance this was a system glitch but we are going to cancel this bet. And before you I ask I called before the game was over to cancel the 3 bet error that was made before.Originally posted by rangerz2478This is nowhere near a "shoe on the other foot" situation.Comment -

#13The bets you made here are the epitome of a bad line. Both lines were flipped on a massive favorite and there isn't a single sportsbook in the world who wouldn't cancel those. Had you bet the -18.5 side who should've been +18.5 and they refused to cancel, then that is definitely wrong of the sportsbook and would fit the situation.Originally posted by jrjay93How when their system obviously glitched before when I was live betting and made a bet 3 times and I called to have the other 2 bets canceled I was told live bets can not be canceled and are final. The system glitch allowing 3 bets would be frustrating for sure but its apples and oranges.Comment -
