    Depositing via Bitcoin to Betphoenix
Got a promotional email for them, which included a bitcoin address to send to. Is this normal for this book?

They send out mailers. They do require 3 confirms on a bitcoin which might take a week.

      What a load of rubbish.

The bitcoin queue is so short 3 confirmations should be under 10 mins right now: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

It sounds suspicious to me too.

Have you asked CS there about it yet?

Not normal no. Their emails always end up in my spam folders but I've never seen one that included a bitcoin address to send to in one before.

It was from a guy I talked to on the phone, so not technically out of the blue. It just seems odd, considering every other book just has that option under cashier. Do people normally have to ask CS for a bitcoin address?

I pay the extra 20 cents or so for priority in block chain. My deposits never take more than 1 hour to get 3 confirms.

"a guy" called you? Or you rang their phone number and spoke to a guy?

And yes, if you don't get the address from a CS agent or through the cashier on the website it could go to anyone.

Got sent a text, then called betphoenix. They then transferred me to a sales rep.

                Probably fine then.

Does sound a bit strange though.

Its one of those, I'm sure its ok 99% of the time. Its just a weird to give a deposit address. I feel better when its through the cashier in a website. Much less of a chance of a scam.

                    I agree.

Chances are its fine but if it happens to be some rouge sales agent about to leave who decides to try it on this is how they might do it eh...

Eog mike is back on the sauce. Mike your putting players at risk with bs like this. Also the 4-7 days it takes to get a bitcoin payout from them is even more comical.
