typed wrong address by one letter for bitcoin payout request
to a book, and i cant reach them they are gone for night.
What will happen? I sent an email to cancel it hope they will.

It will give them an error when they try to send to it.
Part of the string is a checksum for the actual address. Not mathematically possible to just typo 1 character and get a valid address.

i typed whole address optional, just was off by one letter i meant. so its ok just will come back?
Of course assuming they completely ignore the email i sent tomorrow morning.

Even with copy and paste, and even with a cross checking system in place, sooner or later everyone sends crypto to a bad address (or, in my case, a bad tag; I sent Litecoin to a proper address, but with an improper tag: it was late, I was tired....).
The first time it's terrifying. You're asking yourself, "Holy F*ck, did I just lose $[X]k"? So I think it's nice for people to learn BEFORE it happens that, "don't panic; you haven't just zorked your crypto out of existence."

copy paste with phones, tablets can be the worst experience even if you can figure out how to slide and grab what you want. yuk
