What is going on in Argentina?
I noticed a number of bookmakers adopting a .ag ending in their website address. This trend accelarates these last years. Just to mention some examples so you understand what I am talking about:
    sportsbook.ag
    mybookie.ag
    betonline.ag
Could someone explain why they choose this ag instead of most common .com
Dont take these examples as an advertisement, some could be scams. Thank you for your reply.

It's so the US government has a harder time to go after them. All of the books used to use .com until the US closed the books down. Now they have websites where it's legal.

US authorities have seized some .com domains they think should not allow US citizens access. That can't be done with foreign country TLDs.

                  I agree.

But you try to tell them that...

They have legal jurisdiction over the company controlling .com issuing, is why they can do it.
