Been about 6 months since I gambled and used Bitcoin just withdraw 300 to my bitpay card from blockchain about 7 hours ago and it still says 0/3 confirmations anything to do to spend it up? Very new to bitcoins and most stuff I read goes over my head. I did whatever they suggested for fee will this stuff just pend forever ?

Another poster says they have 3 transfers held up for hours today.

The Bitcoin backend code is near a physical built in block size limit and whilst the miners 'argue' about the best solution these delays have been coming up from time to time.

No it wont pend forever. You should see it 'sometime soon'. Rarely takes more than 8 hours max when this happens.

Need to check here for the appropriate fee before sending next time

Probably just set a low fee for you; you should be able to manually change it, unless you're fine waiting. Nothing out of the ordinary lately that would cause a wait that long except low fees.

i had the same question in the past, raiders had mentioned to use a wallet called electrum that can help determine transaction size/inputs and outputs. i have yet to try it though.
