    Dear all,

    I made 3 deposits on friday with sportingbet.com. The amounts were 19,20 and 300 euro and they credit those money in to my account. The following week I checked my statement and they charged me twice for the 20 and 300 euro deposits, that I never requested, authorized and received.

    I contacted them and they confirmed on live chat that I only received the 3 deposits (19,20,300). The bank as well confirmed that I only requested those deposits and I shouldn't be charged for the 20 + 300 twice.

    It's been since Monday and they only tell : "Kimon B: when our financial department complete the check of the problem we wiil inform you, for now we don't have any news about your problem" There is zero communication in a case that I did nothing wrong. They just took the money out of my account without any request.
    I send them my bank statements that show that I was charged twice. It's really frustrating and waste of my time. The bank told me they should just return my money.

    Since they do not do that I will report them for fraud. I am sure I will receive my money because it's a very clear case, but I shouldn't go through that. Nobody should go through that. Just stay away from them.

    The bookmaker will fix this for you. It's very much in their best interests to do so. So I suggest you dont do anything like asking your bank to reverse it or you will likely end up on a blacklist and unable to use a card to deposit at other places in future.

    It will almost certainly just be taking time to account for what has happened and approve the extra being paid back to your card.

      Thank you for the quick reply Optional.

      The think my account is now -320 euro. So the bank is calling me all the time to settle that. And I am really annoyed because they give me zero update (just some copy - paste answers) on live chat and no reply on my email. I reported that to them on Tuesday and I send them yesterday my bank statement that proves that I was charged twice.

      The other thing is that today is the last working day until Wednesday because of the Easter. So maybe if I don't take any action through the bank asap it will be too late in case they refuse to give me the money ?

      I will fill the complaint form thank you.

      But in any case they are very unprofessional. For whatever reason (system error, human error) they took the money out of my pocket and they ignore me and not giving me any update. And I have the bank calling me all the time to clear my balance.

        Depending on the card you usually have 6 months to dispute a transaction so there is no hurry. And if you do initiate that the procedure takes weeks anyway as the bank have to query the card company who query the merchant.

        I agree the book should react quickly to these things and if they can already see they have charged you $320 more than you asked for and was credited to your betting account, then they should be able to at least tell you those charges will be reversed for certain.

        Card refunds can take a week or so to show up on your account btw. Any chance they have already done that and you just don't see it yet?

          Hi optional,

          They certainly did not made any step to give the money back. On the live chat they tell me we send an email to the financial department and we are waiting for reply. It will be resolved asap. But it's been 3 days. The bank pushes me to proceed with the complaint (to the fraud - card department) because they want my account to be clear. And I don't think they are too thrilled that my account went minus for gambling purposes.

          The bank told me that the procedure will not be a refund and the money should be back to my account as soon as they release them (after a few hours)... Don't know - understand the exact procedures to be honest. I am supposed to go later and fill a complaint for fraud. To be honest I am not sure how it was authorized from my bank to go -320 euro. I had not available money in to my balance besides the deposits I authorized... And I don't have a credit card is debit card.

          I send the complaint. if you guys can look in to it that will be great.

          As we both agreed the most important thing is honest and open communication. And they failed greatly...
