#1Bodog Cancelled my bet. What f__king BsToday. I bet an exactor in the third race at Will Rogers Downs. 1,3,4,5 / 2 It came 5/2 2 Exactor paid 121.60 I had a dollar one. So I was expecting half the money. It took 30 mins after the race and they listed the bet as Outcome no action. I called and they told me some crazy story about how I bet after the race. It was mere seconds they said. Which was complete non sense. Because I bet two tracks in a row. Watched the first race, than I watch the start of the second race. I was/am so disgusted with them. I know it's only 60 bucks but it's the principle and the fact what recourse do I have? I lose hundreds horse racing. It's fun but to be bamboozled by them. It hurts. Bodog was good to me four a few years. A lot of people warned me. Those that stock with Bodog beware it will happen to you.Tags: None -

#11http://www.equibase.com/premium/char...17&cy=USA&rn=3 down load pdf. See what time race went off at. I made my bet watched the gulfstream race? Than watched the Will Rogers Down race. Then they have the nerve to say I made a bet after the race had started. Even if I did ( WHICH I DIDNT) that's there problem. Once in a while I hit the wrong button and make the wrong eager. They never cancel it for me. But if they make a mistake. Void Refund!Comment -
#12Pretty funny how I lost every bet before that and none were void and refunded but the moment I win. Void! That's so f ing sick!!!!Comment -

#15Looks like race was scheduled to go off at 3:01 pm and maybe they base their gradings on scheduled post time not actual off time which is stupid. Maybe you initiated your bet in the final seconds of 3:00 and it didn't get officially confirmed in the system until 3:01 and a few seconds which would put it past post time for grading purposes even if the race hadn't actually gone off yet. I would check if you made any other bets that were graded losses at or past scheduled post time but before actual post time. If you found such a case, no way can they justify their grading. What was the other bet you made just before it?Comment -

#16Thanks for sharing. We will ask Bodog to take a look. While your ticket may indeed show that it was placed seconds before some sites have the race as going off, please note these complaints are common with not only horse racing but in-play. Unless you're at the track watching the horses line up, a lot can go wrong between the timestamp on your PC, the timestamp on the book site, the feed used for grading. Whenever you're waiting till the last nanosecond there is the possibility it'll get flagged as past-post; books don't pick and choose this, it comes in through an automated feed that they have to stand by. But there is always the possibility of software errors, so let us escalate this one on your behalf and we'll report back.Comment -

#17Ive had that happen on multiple sites most times to my benefit since the bet lost.. its standard on most sites to go by fixed time....The only site that I play at that you can bet up to second they go off is Heritage...Ive even seen them reopen a closed race if there is a scratch or other delay..Heritage Racebook is the best out there for that reason and they grade the fastest too...try them sometimeComment -

#21try using Wagerweb to bet horses- I place bets regularly there with seconds left till the gate opens, Literally!! Plus they pay out full track odds up to $10,000 on major tracks. By the way, this is their rule on this topic: For thoroughbreds and harness racing we take into account the whole minute for your bet. Example: If the race is off at 12:05, and your ticket was placed at 12:05 (and any second on that minute, up to :59), your wager will have action if your ticket was placed at 12:06 your wager will NOT have action.Comment -
#22I thought I would post an update. I reported my issue to sbr. I receive an email April 7 saying that Bodog had tried contacting me. I had no missed calls or any email from them. I then call. The two said the person handling would contact myself. I told him to email. I wanted proof in words. No email has ever come. SBR REP told me I should be greatful for them taking the time. I email sbr told him I hadn't receives a anything from them. It is clear bodog is a scam. They take bets and cancel them if they win and feel they do not want to pay out. I have bet with them for or 15 years. Never had a problem. But WARNING to the rest of you. It CAN and WILL happen to you. Be carefulComment -

Bodog reviewed this with us and graded all wagers consistently, and indicated they may make a concession in good faith for you. It may well be the case you were seconds clear, but sportsbooks cannot cherry pick wagers to accept or reject when they are placed after their feed provider had the race going off, but as you've been a good customer they're willing to work with you. Calling them a scam probably isn't helping bring this one to a close.Comment -
#25I would prefer email from now on as i would like all communication to be in writing. I told them that when I called themComment -
#26I also would like to apologize to sbr. They did not use the word "greatful" it was my interpretation. They said that many books would just not look any further into the matter. So I felt like sbr was like just be grateful. That was my interpretation only. Sbr said no such thing. I'm sorry.Comment -
#27So why has the funds not been entered into my account?????. If they decided to concead that they accepted a bet are now willing to honor it ( as they shpuld) why do they need to contact me. Just put the funds into my account. Once that is/was done. I would come into this forum and let everyone know that. Bodog takes matters like this seriously and they are very fair. I was very loyal. Could possible be again. Until my bet is honored they have scammed me. Frauded me. And every other word applicable. I want what JUSTLY mine. Once I have receive it. I will report that bodog is ok.Comment -
#28Must've final post here. Bodog decided to pay the bet. Of course with a one time roll over. I will only say one thing. With out SBR I had zero shot of getting that money. Thank u matt. And optional. And everyone else here.Comment -
