Expekt.com voiding bets on line move
Just a heads-up about this very bad practice.

Today I had two of my in-play bets voided by Expekt sportsbook. The game was:

Tai Po FC Reserves vs Eastern Athletic Reserves [Soccer, Hong Kong Reserve League]

Average market odds before the game were:

    1,80 - 3,75 - 3,75

The visitors scored an early goal and a couple of minutes later I placed two bets, backing them at 1,88 odds. Seems right up to this point? Well, it would be, but away team kept pushing for the second goal (according to the feed they were attacking like crazy). And so, this being a pretty volatile league, in a matter of 10-15 minutes odds for away team went down to about 1,30.

So when odds moved to the territory Expekt did not like, they decided to void the bets. This happened 24 minutes after I placed them. I don't even know if you can call it "the linesman falling asleep at the wheel" case. Maybe it was, and he woke at 1,30, but my bets were placed earlier.

Other sportsbooks (Bwin, Bet365) graded the same bets (placed at around the same time) correctly and their odds were even higher (2,05 and 2,00 respectively).

I have contacted Expekt on live chat, but was informed that the bets will stay voided. So beware.

Typical for poor books when they are not happy about your bet

Awful story. Live betting rulings a bit like the wild west too many places.

Best to stick to betting exchanges for live bets, too many cases like this every day. At least you know you will not get voided on Betfair etc

Yeah I haven't used any of the Everest group in a few years, since sister site Betclic made me roll my deposit over 1x after cutting my limits on my very first bet. Took me 6 months at 20 bucks a pop to complete it.

Yes, you could say this was typical behaviour for books rated F or D, but this one has a B- rating.
