I would love for all sports to move to regulation only, and exclude OT the way soccer does it, and the way you have an option at least in Hockey.

I am kind of surprised some bookmaker hasnt exploited it yet... I am sure they have databases that show the % of games that OT occurs in a given point spread range... so, give the bettors the option to bet a regulation only line, and charge a few extra cents... I know id gladly pay it... Although, standard regulation only rules would be much preferable.

yea...it always seems like OT esp in NBA hurts me more than it helps me. Guess i'm on the under more often than the overs

Yeah... and I can't even count how many times I have had the dog, who plays great all game.. only to go to OT and get blown out and not cover... Im talking spreads of 7, 8, 9..and not covering..

OT is flukish... it shouldnt ruin a good bet, and you shouldnt be rewarded for a bad one.

I posted something along this line a couple of years ago.
I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting it up though.
Certainly isn't right, particularly for totals betting.

If you were winning you would love OT

If my judgement is good, I don't need overtime.
