the multi account gives them a cheap out if they want it, but if its a dormant account that hasnt been touched he shouldnt have that count against him.

betonline is a book that im 50/50 on in terms of whether or not they would do that.

And I believe they are as well. Hence why I signed up to play again. My friend recommended them and he's a life-long buddy of mine who I trust. Looking at them overall right now they are pretty much top dog for US friendly sites. PokerStars obviously top overall but we can't play there.

I'm not saying your wrong but I don't think offshore books are looking at intent. They are looking at whether or not he violated the T&C which he did by opening a second account. If his old account was dormant and CLOSED by the book then it's a different story. I've had situations where my account at sites have been closed because of inactivity and support gave me permission to open a new account.

my friend sent me link from Reddit today showing BetOnline clearly cheating with LiveDealer Blackjack. It's pretty unbelievable. The dealer clearly pushed up the next card from the thing that holds the remaining cards in the deck and dealt himself the next card, which prevented him from busting. I wish I could post the link to the video here but I don't think I can. Anyone interested in seeing the video...just go to reddit and search for the video. definitely worth a look

thanks Optional. Just read BetOnline response to the video. Glad that they actually acknowledge the cheating and reimbursed the player for that hand. But IMO I think they need to dig a little deeper and review ALL casino hands ever dealt by this particular dealer to see if the same thing happened with other hands. I seriously doubt this was the first time this has ever happened.

Yeah, it looked so blatant though its hard to imagine everyone just missed it for a long time. I'm sure BOL and everyone else who uses that live casino will be demanding some answers. Bad look when it's co-branded like that.

I've played pai-gow in Vegas and KNOW casinos have the technology to know every card in a dealt hand. after dealing the cards, the dealer showed me on a screen the seven cards house was holding before he even flipped his hand over, and pushed another button and the computer automatically set hand the "house" way. If they have that kind of technology, I'm sure they could apply the same technology to a game like Blackjack and know the value of every card coming out of the shoe before its even dealt.

Wow I watched the bol live dealer cheat...that's so bad...so casual....it looked though as that's other 2 players won right??? anyway they have house edge why bother as now they lose much business now just dumb on there part...

Yeah I mean that cheating incident could of just been related to that dealer, who knows. It's probably inevitable they will fire him or suspend him. However I'm glad they addressed the situation and settled it.

Please stay on topic here though guys. Will be reaching out to BOL Monday afternoon if I don't hear anything. I think I've been pretty fair here with giving them time (5+ days) to investigate. Monday most likely also brings in management so I get that. I don't want to take anymore steps at this point. I hope this ends here and we can all move on.

But back to your situation...please let us know BOL response after you contact them Monday. Who knows maybe with all the bad publicity they getting with the BlackJack incident...it may work in your favor with this badbeat jackpot situation, bc BOL can ill afford any more negative attention...which they will surely get if they don't settle and pay you fairly.

Pretty surprising, for 137k and a double account there ..... wasn't holding out much hope for OP. I mean, not saying he's done anything wrong, but it's a specific thing the book can use as an excuse, and for that amount most will use it.

Happy to report BetOnline is the real deal, a respectable and first class organization. My experience tells me that and I've proven that to the online poker community. I had to bring this report public to protect myself and that's the only reason I did it. If anything, this should show SBR forum members/guests that BOL is the leader in the industry and SBR's rankings are legit, accurate and reliable.

People are pretty cynical, probably rightly overall, but over the years most of the top rated books do act fairly and dont just look for reasons to penalize people.

Posted early on that I didn't expect a dormant account alone to be a problem with them.

Almost like this story was told to have this happy ending the manager calls him on the phone tomorrow there will be a knock at his door and the owner will be standing there with his cash in a paper bag. i'm probably wrong but something not kosher to me!
