Not always true. Many books will grade it once the team clinches. Depends on the book.

i can tell you with 5dimes they will make u wait to season ends because i had a soccer team future to win their divison they clinched with a few games to go and they made me wait til season ended

The particular book I have the plays with, have not paid me when I had thousands in my account and many pending payouts... at times would tell me they were gonna send me 500 only to send me 100 or so, really frustraited with them and myself for letting them do this to me, Im gonna wait and see if they grade it early and pay me this time before I say anymore.

Whatever bookmaker you're with, it sounds like they are very dodgy and have big cashflow problems, so you need to request a withdrawal of your full balance and go and play with some top class bookmakers.

Bookmakers are known to do everything that is on their own interests and to do anything possible to increase their profits, so it would be strange for a bookmaker not to settle a bet that's already won and put the winnings into your account straight away. From the bookmaker's point of view, the quicker they can settle the bet and put the winnings in your account the better it is for them, as then the quicker the chance it is that you lose it all back to them, so it's strange for any bookmaker not to settle winning bets and put the winnings in your account immediately, as it's actually in their own interests to do so.

Certainly with European bookmakers, if for example a football team win the Premier League with 5 games to go, pretty much all of the European bookmakers will settle the bet and pay out the winnings immediately. They certainly wouldn't wait 5 weeks to settle the bet.

Some books will make you wait until after the Superbowl.

Would seem pointless to make you wait after SB as they surely want as much action as possible, but hey whatever
