    5dimes deposit fees
Does 5dimes attach any fees to cc deposits? I haven't been with them very long, but I have made a handful of deposits via cc and none have had fees and my bank statements have always reflected the same amount I deposited. However, I made a deposit yesterday and the transaction is listed for a few dollars more. There were no fees listed when i made the deposit. The transaction is still pending so I'm waiting until it clears before I contact 5dimes but I wanted to check and see if anyone else experienced this. I have experienced something similar with bovada, and decided to move to 5dimes where I heard there were no fees.

They pulled this crap with me and it was $30 more. I emailed them and they said they don't reimburse international cc transaction fees. It wasnt from a fee it was the amount they charged me which was $30 more than my deposit..

Yeah that's what I think happened. On bovada they charge you 4-5% fee, but the transaction is always more than my deposit amt+fee. Bovada claims it's on my banks end but my bank shows fees separately from transactions and doesn't charge for international transactions anyways. It was just weird that 5d hadn't done this before.

I consistantly have had this problem with Bovada, it's NOT the foreign transaction fee from the cc or any other fee their processor is just charging more than they should. My guess is the processor is skimming extra off the top, charging more on each deposit.
Example, deposit $100 + their 4.9% fee so the charge is $104.9 and I'll actually be charged $110. The cc has 3% ft fees and they are listed separate from the actual charge. This has been going on for some time.

I figured it wasn't just me me experiencing this. It sounds like it's just something we have to take as this is all off shore stuff. Anyone have any luck somehow avoiding these extra charges?

Update to my situation... the transaction went through with the additional fees on my statement, so I contacted 5dimes via live chat. They said that some processors charge a fee for converting currency and that was likely the reason for the extra charge. They credited the amount to my 5d acct. Though I had not intended to deposit that much, and again it was a very small amount, it's nice that they credited it to my acct and didn't blame it on my bank.

Good to hear they looked after you 7deuce. I haven't run across that before and I use foreign currency.
