Bovada confiscated my account

After slowly building my account to about 17,000 I tried to withdraw 3000. After spending a week emailing them "information to verify acc" today was told ,"because you have two accounts in the same house, you and your wife's account will be closed and all money will be confiscated" Bovada, just stole over $30,000 of my wife's and my money. They claimed the two of us were a "betting syndicate" because we made similar wagers at simililar times on hockey. Well yes we did both bet when we seen a goalie wasn't in the net. Yes we both are winning. She said we only bet when we had the best of it. Ok? When is that illegal?
Also we never tried to hide the fact we both live and bet from the same house. I believe they tried to freeroll on us to loose. But since we won, knew they were never going to pay due to fine print used to keep away bonus chasers.
Either way I plan to post about them till everyone in the gambling community knows Bovada will not pay if you win.

Did both of you ever bet the maximum on any markets, followed by another bet on the same market from another account?

If you answered yes to question 1 and yes to either 2 or 3, you got what you were asking for. I doubt you'll get any sympathy here.

In their agreement (which I was unaware of the one per household ) it says "right to seize any funds gained as a result of holding multiple accounts , not the starting bank as well as the other account, and the wagers won when only her or I bet or were obviously located in different areas of the country.

Also in all fairness, I admitted a roommate we have also has a Bovada account. And asked why he was never bothered. Kay from Brovada security said he mostly plays poker, and did not win at sports so he was not a concern. How is his acc valid, but my wife's and mine aren't. Thought the whole reason for my acc being locked was due to us not being allowed multiple accounts per "household "

Not sure what the maximum bet was, but combined we never bet more than 2000 total on any game,only averaged 600 bets. And if the maximum was lower, how or why did it allow me to bet it. I'm new to sports betting online just figured safer than a bookie (was I ever wrong). Yes we both did recive 250 bonus, but at most, take that back,not confiscate the entire account. How is that fair to a player in any way? If you loose we keep it, if you win, we keep it.

So effectively you were using the second account to circumvent their $500 limit and betting up to $1000.
That's not just "betting faster". It's betting MORE.

No I was allowed to bet up to 2000 on each account if I wished (don't recal trying for more than 2000 ever)and time outs permitted. But could only bet 500 at time. If there was a maximum amount you can bet, why was I allowed to bet past it? And why would a total max bet be that small for such a large (by appearances) company. Frequently in Vegas if I bet they allow prop bets for up to 1500 or 3000 depending on where I'm at. But in all fairness, my acc being locked saved me a ton of $$ on the Alabama game.

Its going to be difficult for you get the cash (more after recieve bonuses), because is against all sportsbooks T&C having more than 1 account, bet same game, same IP/House... I had similar problem with 10BET some years ago and I coudnt do anything to get the money. T&C is the bibble for bookies to steal (unfair) the money from bettors.

Sue them in small claims court - with a lawyer. You might not get all your money, but if more people did this, it would make them think twice before they would knowingly allow anyone they don't intend to pay to keep playing until they lose everything or try to withdraw...

That may well be but he does have a legitimate issue regarding them only deciding to deny him winnings despite obviously having knowledge of duplicate accounts before that.

It's known as free-rolling and cannot be regarded as acceptable practice.

The "3rd account in the household " has never been blocked because it is a loser. And "is no concern to us at the moment". But I'm in the wrong, because I must be bonus chasing. Never tried to take advantage of bonus, only wanted to bet the games. Get paid if I won, and not complain if/when I lost.
Why wouldn't I call my lawyer? It's people like me, who make things better for other bettors. And hold these companies accountable. Because a casino, claims what you do is not right, doesn't make it so!
Tommy Highland spent a ton of his own money and time to prove that, but made a few places legal for counters. If a player uses the casino odds, plays by their rules, but is smarter, and wins. He or she should get paid. I'm sorry I don't feel bad for a casino who almost always has the best of it. And tries to steal from you when they loose.

It's a no-win cuz Bovada is one of my outs that I can depend on to PAY out every time without worry. That why I would never let a balance at an off-shore get that high without taking five hundred or so out just to see how it goes.

I never cheated! I bet their odds from their website. Do you really have that much love for corporate rules? And letting others forgo their hard earned money to greedy corporations, who never intended on playing fair. Or somewhere along the way, has their rules been so pounded into your head, you actually, somehow believe, it's the right thing to do? They knew of multiple accounts from the start. (Was made to verify hers at set up) but chose not to say anything until we both were winners. Not when we were loosing. How is that fair and just? And if my bets were so much, why wouldn't I have been monitored after the first month or two? They didn't have time?

Don't get bothered by people ripping in to you. None of us know if you are really two genuine players or the one person using a partners ID... but the second scenario is very common and 'most' people that start threads complaining about being caught are doing it as a last resort and that's why the negativity.

If you were both betting the same live markets at the same odds for the $500 a pop max it looks like you are trying to get around limits whether you are or not.

What happens to the odds on those late game totals after you hit it for $500? Do they sometimes change straight away so you can't hit the same odds twice? If so, that's what the book will see as cheating the system by betting them with 2 accounts.
