Not really excessive. It all depends what type of player you are. I usually hit the rollover amounts within a few days anyways. So if you deposit 300 you get $300 plus $300 Free Play. Need to make $6000 in wagers before you cash out. Last month i hit a rollover requirement in 3 days and exceeded it by $10,000 within a 7 day period. It's doable.
