SBR Consensus Page: Where Does The Information Come From?

I have a few questions. I hope some Mods and/or Posters can help?

    1. The "Amount Wagered" area... where do you get this info from? Is this from offshore books? Or simply from the SBR Sportsbook like betpoints?

    2. Reason why I ask... I don't understand the "1000+ bets" category and also "Best Bets"? Where the heck is the data coming from? Who's placing these wagers?

    3. Why are some average bet sizes really low? And some are amazingly high?

How can we use this as an advantage... if we really don't know where this info is coming from?

At the bottom of the page you need to use asterisk marks and label what the heck everything means?

    Thanks.

    You've asked this question before.

    Remember the answer Ivy gave?

If you hover your mouse over the "?" at the top of each column it gives a little more info.

1000+ bets are how many individual bets were made for more than $1000

Best Bets are how many people chose that as their 2x pick in the BTP contest.

      Thanks Optional for the post.

I posted this again because my question in that previous thread wasn't really answered.

I'm trying to figure out how is it even possible... that one game has $4,500,000 in wagers.... and one game only has $30,000 in wagers?

And I think New Orleans covered that +6.5 spread today... so books are paying out 3.8 million in winning wagers today??? Trying to view this with an open mind... but I'm not convinced that this information is accurate.
