Bet365 problem!!!!

Hi,
I have big problem with bet365. They locked my account after a months of playing. Account is fully verified with ID and utility bill, had few payouts, loyalty bonus... They requested me to "send a copy of some suitable postal correspondence dated within the last three months
- Utility bill
- Bank statement (credit/debit card)
- Council Tax bill
- House or Motor Insurance certificate
- Mobile or Landline telephone bill
- Mortgage statement
- Electoral Register Document
- Social Housing Association Rent Card or Tenancy Agreement
- Solicitors Letter confirming recent house purchase or land registry
- Firearms Certificate/Shotgun licence" for address verification.

Since then I have sent them 6 different type of bank documents (statement, credit statement for house purchase, *********** statement, client data issued by bank, even a contract with bank). Every response from bet365 operaters is more idiotic then one before.

UK books have ramped up the KYC process recently I think.

Seeing more than a few frustrated people like you. That does sound like a more ridiculous amount of documentation than usual though.

The bad news is that there really is little that can be done to help you before they make an actual decision. The security dept will treat you as a security risk and tell you very little whilst unapproved, and won't discuss it with SBR. From previous experience the UKGC/IBAS will just refer you back to the book for KYC issues as well.

But the good news is that most of the people I've seen put through the wringer like this do eventually get approved in the end.

As I said, I doubt there is much SBR can do but you are welcome to fill in a complaint form and at least get some advice on how to handle the idiotic replies. http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

Well, how about downgrading it... how can Bet365 possibly be A+ ?? I remember they limited my account after 1 week, and I only won a couple of hundred euros.

lol come on man, there are thousands of ppl on here that are limited but each and everyone will admit that 365 are one of the best....they will always pay and have great bonus offers and offer everything under the sun if any book was diserving of their ranking its 365....

oh and it dont matter if you won 5 euros or 5million euros, its not all about winning if your betting 5th divison youth bulgarian handball or anyhting where you would be classed as 'sharp' you wont stay around...dont know what your betting but i doubt it was the weekends premier league games.....get your mama to crank you open an account and go back to work with them.....

Why do they offer odds for lower leagues if they don't want anyone to touch them?

It makes no sense at all.

Also, after they limit your account, you cannot use any of the bonus offers, reload bonuses, free bet offers etc. anymore.

No need to bet on 5th div. handball, you will be limited very fast even if you bet on main EPL lines. If you bet significant amount of money on a sharp lines they will limit you sooner or later, but most likely sooner. Bet365 is a bookie that has hundred of thousands of bettors placing 5 to 10 USD per bet, as soon as you place few hundreds or more per bet you will be spotted and your betting pattern will be manually checked. The risk management will then decide if you are sharp or not.

It's hard to say for certain but it doesn't sound like you would be looked at too hard.

oh yeah they will 100% cut your ass if your throwing large amounts around...like you say they want the small timers and lots of them....but you will last alot longer if you only bet'solid' leagues....you go tossing 4 figs on itf tennis and bulgarian youth league you'll be shown the door very quick....betting chelsea every week you prolly be ok, at least for awhile....

oh yeah, when they limit you its sending you a message 'take a hike'! then you speak to your mate and he opens you up an account and the cat chases the mouse again
