    Newbie question about shady sportsbook
Hi, I'm new here and I hadn't found any other place to post this question. Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I reactivated an old sportsbook that I played with a few years ago one night about 2 1/2 months ago. The sportsbook was called sportsbook.com which I guess has now changed to sportsbook.ag. Anyway, long story short, I end up winning $800.00. Cool right? Well unfortunately I have still not received anything from these crooks except for some crappy form responses telling me they apologize and to be patient. After doing some research on the net, to my horror (but sadly not to my surprise) this is par for the course for this shady company. I guess my question is, is there anything that I can do here? I realize this is an offshore company so I'm fairly limited as I am in the U.S. They of course will not provide a phone number either and a "who is" search has not given me any useful numbers. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

There is a couple of long threads here about this

And I think a couple of hundred player complaints are already on file.

Feel free to add your case to the list that SBR are trying to help: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

The good news is that Sportsbook do appear to be making some progress, slowly but surely we are seeing paid reports from 8 to 12 weeks ago.

Stick to the top rated Sport-books like 5Dimes and Bookmaker and you won't have to worry about getting paid if you happen to win. A poster on here last year won a $250k parlay from 5Dimes and they paid out, stick with the best when it comes to your money.

vac, we will likely be able to track your payment. There are a few people in CS who do care but the company overall has stolen a lot of money. Probably over a half million from posters here alone. There havent been any recent outright thefts. Hopefully you will be paid soon. They likely have flush processors from all the deposits that will come in this week so we expect to see a lot of money go back out. Good luck

Thanks again folks. It's my own fault for not doing my homework but still there's no excuse to welch on your bets. I feel real bad for anyone else that's been cheated by them as well. How they can remain in business is a mystery.
