    Samvo Bet Brokers
Hi everyone, I've read various post on here over the past two years and I've now finally decided to take the plunge and make my first post. It's just a question I have about Samvo Bet Broker. I just wondered if any of the serious bettors on here have used them, and whether or not they have had a positive or negative experience? I only ask as they seem to be the only Bet Broker to hold a Alderney Licence? I assume they are available to U.K. customers? I believe they were recently reviewed by the "Secret Betting Club", but as I don't subscribe to that, I'm not sure if it was that particular broker and what was said about them. Anyway any feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers!!

    Yes, available to UK customers
SBC's report was generally positive: "Samvo looks a very interesting option for serious UK football bettors."

What are the legalities surrounding using a Bet Broker/Agent? I obviously want access to low juice books like Pinnacle Sports, but at the same time as they do not pay Consumption Tax in the U.K., would I be in breach of any law by using them? If they have an Alderney Licence I assume they cannot be breaking any laws? Do you know what sort of fees/commissions are charged by Samvo? Hopefully the European Court of Appeal will finally overturn this Point of Consumption Tax once and for all later this year!!! Cheers for your reply!

If there were any illegality (which it is stated there isn't in this case) I'm pretty certain that it would be the business, not the mere punter who would be in trouble, so on that score I'd not be at all concerned about using them.

I'm sure Samvo would be pleased to confirm fees/commissions for you. There appear to be a few options.
They charge 3% for Neteller or Skrill deposits but no withdrawal fees. No fees for c redit c ards.

Ok Cheers, I wish S.B.R. would do some digging or a review of them, I value their ratings and knowlege of books, I wish they'd start evaluating Brokers/Agents as well. I am a bit cautious about a third Party placing the bets I want to put on with my money. I also remember the Betbutler fiasco and don't wanna get my fingers burnt. Again cheers for the advice and input.

brokers are for big players only

Now the question is there might be only 2 legit ones out there

                Maxbet/IBC is one

Think you're getting somewhat confused again!

Maxbet (IBC) is a bookmaker, not a broker.

Samvo is a broker who can use to access Maxbet.

Just to update you so far on my own investigation into Samvo. From what information I have found on the internet, I can't see any deposit or withdrawal fees, but only a 0.15% commission for Platinum account holders (I've probably got this wrong as it seems to be too good to be true). I do take on board one of JJ Gold's points though, it does seem it is for serious bettors (which in truth is what I expected). From my own digging it seems to be minimum bet of 50 pounds and minimum deposit of 1000 pounds. Now without any information/review from an independent analyst/source I obviously won't be committing my funds to them. Although what is offered in their "brochure" I have to say looks impressive and it seems by using their "Bethub" you actually place your own bets using this. I have emailed Samvo for a general breakdown of the rules, fees, how I place bets etc.... I have also pointed out in my email to them that it would be wise to make the service more transparent, allowing the betting to community to see what they are all about. I have suggested they run a Twitter feed and have also invited them to contact Sportsbook Review, to allow them to "Run the Rule" over them. But I'm probably deluded if I believe they will listen to "Joe Bloggs" but it was worth a try. Anyway that's the end of this rant, I'll keep you posted if they email back.

Maxbet is a book, possibly the largest in the world.

Samvo have been around for a while, but most people I know went with asianconnect (dunno if that's still justified though).

Only problem with AsianConnect is that they do not have a U.K. licence and having to change your V.P.N. to access the bookmakers they offer seems a bit dodgy to me.

They are just trying to word themselves in a way they think makes this legal.

They can't market unlicensed books to UK people. Which Pinny is. So they are telling you they don't.

They offer you a Samvo account. One of those account types does give you access to Pinny lines but they are not offering you a Pinny account.

But this must be legal and above board, otherwise they wouldn't hold an Alderney Licence. I'm still confused as to if I hold a Platinum account as a resident of the U.K. I would be offered Pinnacle's odds. Come on S.B.R. help me out here, just want a definitive answer, I hate grey areas!!!

Both Samvo and I gave you the definite answer.

Did you click the link they sent and looked for info on UK players? I did. It's not that tough to understand.

You don't need to be concerned about the legality or how they approach it. As long as the UKGC have approved them then they must think the model fits the law. And how Samvo responds to enquiries from UK players regarding sub accounts might be something agreed to for that license.

I didn't mean to make it sound like they were illegal or dodgy. Sounds like the best solution for UK people wanting Pinny I know of right now.
