Bodog Lowering Odds if you're a winning player?
I'm not sure if the bodog site has some technical issues. I'm getting lower odds anytime I sign into the site for games for instance the Marlins are listed as +121 but I'm getting +119 when I sign in.

Does bodog penalize you if you're a winning bettor? I've been doing ok on the site, but it would really stink if they were penalizing players for profiting by giving lower odds

Yes. They deal two sets of lines.

I just got an email saying it was a technical issue & that the lines on the site don't update as quickly as when you log in
That seems to be consistent as some lines were the same & some lines were different.

But now I see the response above. Can you elaborate Buffalo Nickle?

If you win, they will convert you to the sharp line set. Apparently will do it rather quickly. Do not know what the criteria is but it is fairly well known.

Also do any other sportsbooks do this as well?

Some books limit your max stake, a few give you worse lines. It's all the same thing in the end.

Yes. Don't win. If you haven't been limited yet, you probably are going to get standard lines. They also limit fast. If you are not betting all that much per game, they will probably let it slide for longer.

                    That's just a lie.
I discovered them doing this several years ago and they lied about it to me too.

Rehashing this thread wondering if you have been on a losing streak at bodog whether they will give you back the original lines as opposed to the sharp lines?

I would hazard a guess, that the line you see somewhere is written as "betting guide only", many shops will display the guide market price and then when you log in get the actual real time up to date line... the betting guide is not always accurate...

They will never give you back the old line set.
