I deposit bitcoins of $2500 then only get credited $2337.50 because of some new cashier rule that I have to pay 6.5%, I also already lost $5 per bitcoin because they give u less on deposit then they r worth. So less about $50 plus less $163 for 6.5% on a new rule in cashier because it wasn't there on my last deposit. Its also hidden away and not on deposit page for people to see. I would have not used this method if I new this.

Wow. That's pretty steep fee. It defeats the whole purpose of using bitcoin; which is to save on transaction cost.

On the one hand it IS in the rules. On the other hand it's so shady since bitcoins ought to have the lowest fees of any method.

I'd heard rumors of this fee. Thank you for posting and confirming it.

It seems like an incredibly self-defeating pricing strategy for them, but I won't presume to tell them how to run their business. What it seems like we do have a right to expect is transparency. If this fee surprised you because it wasn't clearly explained when you clicked the Deposit options it seems to me like you have a right to complain.

You'd be helping others to make better decisions by not getting blindsided by this incredible fee.

Yes I think I'm going to put in a complaint because its hidden in some rule no one ever checks unless instructed to do so. To top it off they wont even do a courtesy to give back the fee since I have had an account for some time now. I truly would have deposited with another method if I new this.

Good. It would be great if someone from SBR could get their side of the story on why they think these fees are necessary. It seems pretty clear that they don't want Bitcoin business, so why bother to offer it in a way that will just piss off anybody who knows the fees other books charge for the same service?

LOL funny this thread was made because I have stopped depositing with Bitcoin at this place because of what is going on here. I was happy when I saw they had Bitcoin then I saw the crookedness going on with these unheard of fees and refuse to lose out this much just because they are cheep.
I used to not believe people when they used to tell me that books would add on fees for deposits and withdrawals just to make some money of the players, but this is a clear example of this theory right here since everyone on the planet knows that using Bitcoin is pretty much free for any amount. Over $200 in bitcoin fees for a $2500 deposit what bs crap is going on these days.

And this from a book whose reputation seemed to be on the mend. It's a head-scratcher.

The cc deposit is just as bad or worse. for a $1000 deposit, I got credit with $935, so it is $65 fee. Than I though it couldn't get worse, than my cc is charge $1050 for my 1g deposit.

conclusion: $935 deposit cost $115 usd fee = 12%+ fee for cc, so bitcoin have it use after all, only 6.5% fee.....lol.

in their defence, last week i got 9900 withdrawal free and next day, obviously deposits are free too, so it really comes to the payment methods.

From my knowledge nobody is questioning that they are a great book because they are a great book. They just have a few kinks that need working and using Bitcoin for deposits is one of them, I don't know there thinking behind doing this. I would actually deposit more if they fix this but.....
