did your book refund and 'cancel' the bet? 5 Dimes did but Jetwin didn't for me. I figured most refunded...?

USA facing books all refund. Euro books have their own rules where they MIGHT based result on actual final after game is resumed. You have to check the Euro book's rules.

But USA books do not recognize suspended games during the regular season, the game is in the books as 2-2 final for betting purposes regardless of what happens when game is resumed. Thus, all bets on game are returned, as totals and run lines are cancelled and the money line is a push.

Like LT said Euro shops may not follow Vegas standard.

We would need more information about your wager. Was it a pre-match bet or in-play?

      Jetwin lists:

"All markets will be cleared according the final result after 9 innings (8 ½ innings if home team is leading at this point). In case of a match is interrupted or cancelled and won’t be continued on the same day, all undecided markets are considered void. "

It was a pre-match bet. Am I wrong in thinking this bet should be cancelled? Jetwin replied to me:

              Am I confused?

You want a void and they are quoting you rules that say it should be void but are not voiding it?

Not true. Bookmaker has the pinnacle rule:

Any game or event must be played to its conclusion within 7 days in order to have action on full game props. Wagers on games that are suspended on the day of the game but played to conclusion within 7 days of the start time have action and will be graded based on the completed game score.

This is the live in play rule.

                  ^^^

Live in play rules are often different to the main sportsbook rules.

did not know that - would rather they cancelled bets like every other usa side book. really don't care about the rule itself just that they should be the same. should have known - shocked it never came up in any of my bets. thanks for the information.

I think you are looking at live betting. Pregame bets are graded per the Vegas standard.

I had live bets on both teams last night.

I had the White Sox in betonline. (they cancelled)

I had the Royals in bookmaker. (they actioned)

Fortunately, my Royals bets are + odds so I can just buy out. But if I had a book with a -300 actioned, and a +300 cancelled, I'd be pretty furious.

It is the live betting, made sure to add that to the end to avoid any confusion.
