Why Heritage is my #1 and only
I have been with Heritage for about 4 years now, I'm probably down with them over that period, but when I do hit, I've always been paid and always treated great.

Have to tell this story. Last Sunday I had a 6 team parlay open to UNI (vs Louisville) but I didn't think I could hedge because Wisconsin/Oregon didn't go final. I called at halftime of the UNI game to see if they would still allow. I spoke to the clerk and asked him to confirm with supervisor, and he allowed me to put the hedge in, I got ticket numbers and everything. I thought this was great. After the game went official, I noticed that my hedge was not placed in my account.

I called and spoke to the supervisor and he told me they do not accept hedges after the game has started. I told him I asked this very question and the clerk verified it with someone. He would listen to the tape to hear what was said.

I thought for sure I was going to have to argue and get SBR involved, but when I called back 10 minutes later, the supervisor said that he was going to HONOR the hedge because of the commitment of the clerk AND hearing the conversation, and moving forward, no hedges are allowed on games that have already started.

A++ Heritage. Couldn't have been more fair considering the situation and I can't say enough how much I appreciate it. People that complain about their customer service must not being telling the whole story because this was top notch all the way.

Shouldn't have had to call back to begin with. Should have already been in your account. Incompetent customer service is nothing to praise

Yes Heritage Sportsbook is Number #1

And what you shared in your post scavsiu8 is exactly why I made the thread earlier in the week that was correctly removed by admistration because of the discussion of payment methods which is not allowed to be discussed on the forum. There is no doubt Heritage is the number #1 Sportsbook today based on my experiences with them, and there customer service department.

May I suggest that instead of you 2 falling in love with Heritage, that you try women instead?

He's asking how many employees it takes to run a good size shop.

No doubt Heritage is a great book, but if they are your ONLY book you cannot win in the long-term. What if they told you "No", then what? But if you had a 2nd, 3rd or 4th book, then you wouldn't have to worry? What about line shopping? What about a book that closes their doors or has processor issues?

Bottom line any player who is betting on sports to win must have at least 3-5 books (both post up and credit) to be a long-term winner. PERIOD!

should have more than 1 book - 3 better than 2-4 better than 3. but to win you will need the most important part of long term winning-------money management. same goes for whatever you do you must be able to manage your money.

I don't disagree with what you guys are saying in terms of multi books. I just need a reliable and efficient online book, one that I can trust. I'm not doing this to make money, I'm doing this to focus on something else besides my real job. I generally mess around during the NCAA tourney, a little bit during baseball season, and probably every other weekend in football. I'm generally a horse player and this just gives me some additional action.
