Live wagers. Why does the accepted wager change after the fact at Pinnacle?
Made a deposit into Pinnacle recently and I am a bit confused. Let me first say
that Pinnacle is perhaps the best book in the world.

I logged all my wagers after they were made. I copied each ticket immediately after it was accepted.
When comparing my accepted tickets and my daily report I found
the following that occurred on two live wagers:

On one day: $4.27 risked was changed to $4.63 risked
Another day: $65.05 risked was changed to $68.15 risked
(Both of these were losing wagers and shorted my account by $3.46.)

After a wager is placed and confirmed it states that it is accepted and a confirmation
number is provided. My interpretation has always been that after a wager is made,
accepted and a confirmation ticket is provided, that wager is final. It should
    never change. EVER.

I would like some clarification and assistance from punters that use Pinnacle as well.

    1. How can a book change your wager after the fact? (Am I missing out on some
policy where they have a program that retroactively adjusts the live wagers after the fact?)

    2. Please review your Pinnacle live wagers over a one week period. I would ask Pinnacle
punters who use Pinnacle on a regular basis to copy each live wager ticket
(immediately after it is made) for a week and then match up their tickets at the end of the week.

I have always viewed Pinnacle as the best book in the world. Their reputation is one of
extreme excellence. If the world public has any thoughts/suggestions, I would appreciate the input.

Have you asked Pinnacle before coming on here with this?

Do you have screenshots to prove your facts?

What did Pinny say about it?

Is there any chance you made a couple of typos on your tracking sheet?

my complain with pinnacle live betting is in soccer, it takes stupid amount of time before they accept the wage. my live betting took almost 3 mins today before they changed the status from "waiting" to "pending" during which a goal kick has been taken, a player substitution has been made, and a corner has been awarded. And of course, i have to wait for corner kick to become goal kick before they accept my wager. I placed the bet at 2.05 odds and just seconds before they accepted my bet, the odds for the exact same bet is already 2.3...

since i placed quite a large amount, this difference in odds is very annoying to stay the least.. should not they "adjust" the odds before accepting my bet? do i have a case to make a complain? btw i won the bet..

Pinnacle refunded the differential on both wagers and apologized for any inconvenience. They did not provide an
          explanation.

I copy all wagers electronically. I sent them a copy of each corresponding wager that I copied.

I will track this in the future. I would assume the audience here is not comprised of many Pinnacle users.

I find this odd since this is probably the best book in the world.

              Why would you assume that?

Probably the most popular book among members here who can use it.

My issue with NBA Live Betting is that the lines show up after the game has started back up, so of course I can't bet them.

I use a broker so I can't get anything from Pinnacle on what might be going on, but it's really frustrating. Still a great book to have for ten cent 1Q and HT lines.

Anybody else have this issue of NBA Live Lines showing up too late to bet?

They voided a £200 bet on me a couple of weeks ago, as the game started about 20 seconds before I put the bet on. (A snooker game that was listed at 2pm actually started at 13:59:30 and I put the bet on at 13:59:50. The voided it after the game ended, and it was a losing bet as well. My only guess is that someone had a much bigger winning bet voided on the underdog because the line moved in my favour significantly as I was placing it. (from 1.12 to 1.153 which means someone probably had the max £320 on the dog at something like 8/1)

Interesting dealer wins...thanks for passing on the story. It is always reassuring to know they cancel losers as well.
