Made a deposit into Pinnacle recently and I am a bit confused. Let me first say
that Pinnacle is perhaps the best book in the world.
I logged all my wagers after they were made. I copied each ticket immediately after it was accepted.
When comparing my accepted tickets and my daily report I found
the following that occurred on two live wagers:
On one day: $4.27 risked was changed to $4.63 risked
Another day: $65.05 risked was changed to $68.15 risked
(Both of these were losing wagers and shorted my account by $3.46.)
After a wager is placed and confirmed it states that it is accepted and a confirmation
number is provided. My interpretation has always been that after a wager is made,
accepted and a confirmation ticket is provided, that wager is final. It should
never change. EVER.
I would like some clarification and assistance from punters that use Pinnacle as well.
1. How can a book change your wager after the fact? (Am I missing out on some
policy where they have a program that retroactively adjusts the live wagers after the fact?)
2. Please review your Pinnacle live wagers over a one week period. I would ask Pinnacle
punters who use Pinnacle on a regular basis to copy each live wager ticket
(immediately after it is made) for a week and then match up their tickets at the end of the week.
I have always viewed Pinnacle as the best book in the world. Their reputation is one of
extreme excellence. If the world public has any thoughts/suggestions, I would appreciate the input.
