Betfair and Matchbook are the real deal.
Betdaq and Smarkets are pretenders.
Then for racing there is Citibet.

And for the USA there is nothing because bookmakers have their heads up their arse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why not keep markets open ? Have live betting markets open for people to enjoy ? All it really takes is a couple of market makers and 50 or so bettors that want to be there and it could work. It could and it should work but it is not because of all the nonsense that surrounds us !!!!

Betdaq had the best chance to make a charge at Betfair, but they refused to do it.

There will never be an exchange in the great US of A (home of "capitalism" and "free markets") because bookies and sportsbooks would be wiped out.

Bookies and sports books would not be wiped out. Small time bookies like myself would lay off action. Sheep would still be playing at the books laying -110 for the rest of their lives . Smart players would also be at the exchange so you would have a mix of people .
