Victorchandler (BetVictor.com) refuses me to play sports bets
Hello. I am customer of this sportsbook, betvictor.com, and have played big stakes. Today, i received an email from them:

    Dear Mr X,

We are contacting you today to advise that a business decision has been taken by our Senior Traders and I must inform you that we will no longer accept sports bets (including Virtual Sports) from your account number: xxxx.

Your account remains open and you can use the account for the Casino, Live Casino, Slots, Games and Poker. You are able to view all previous and outstanding sports bets.

As explained in our Terms and Conditions:

BetVictor reserves the right to refuse the whole or any part of any bet request for any reason. Once a bet has been confirmed, it cannot be changed or voided other than in exceptional circumstances. We also reserve the right to close any account without obligation to state a reason.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind Regards,

    Alina
    BetVictor Contact centre.

So, they decided not to allow me to play sport bets anymore. I know that they can do this, but i am letting you know, so that other players be aware of. Maybe their rating could be lowered...

    Thank you

Yes, that's normal if you display any sign of betting value, arbing, steaming, whatever.

All European books do the same, VC are just honest enough to close the account rather than setting max stake limits of $0.02 or whatever.

Best to stick to the exchanges, or Asian bookies if you're putting big stakes on.

I got same message. I've been their customer for something like 6-8 years, never have had any problems. But now, suddenly, the end. So the bookmarker is getting weaker and avoidable. Betvictor must be rated as D or maybe C (like cowards) after these suspicious actions. SBR wake up!

Do you know any bookmarker offering same lines? Usually there is one, you just have to find it.

Wrong. With such a bookmarkes that every reasonable person rates as D it is enough to 1) Bet on dropping odds 2) Bet with high stakes on any odds 3) Win.
Then you will get messages like "Bet Error. You are not permitted to place wagers online with this account." - And you didnt arb, you just wanted to make good betting choices with high odds.

I need to warn you of Betvictor.

Why all British bookmarkers are so lousy??? All of them. They are pain in the ass.

Nothing remotely suspicious about it, they've just decided they don't want your action.

Why do you even refer to crappy joints like these as "bookmakers"?

Any of the genuine bookmakers I grew up observing and doing business with would hate to be lumped into the same basket as these pathetic phonies.

I guess we all do that and we have been doing that for years, every single day. And despite of that, we can be very pissed of by these crappy bookmarkers

What's frustrating is these books are set up so well with tons of bet offers

                      They are great for small
                      players
