I often report lines still being up after the game started at Heritage and I have never been credited. I also have never asked to be credited but I do it because it's the right thing to do. It happens often on smaller league games that sometimes have time changes. I've notified them probably 2-3 times in the last few months.
You don't always have to be credited for doing the right thing. Betjamaica used to have a $25 bounty for reporting bad lines. If it bothers you just sign up with a book that clearly states they will credit you for reporting them.

Lol don't give that "it's the right thing to do" spiel. No one likes the bookies and if they make a mistake they will just void it anyway, you are doing it hoping they might throw a freebie your way

If that was the case I wouldn't report them after I did it the first time. They treat me just fine and I try to do the same back to them. My morals don't change just because I am wagering on sports. Different views on the matter I guess.

I'm sure they will repay you when the time comes, we all know how bookies are renowned for their morals and helping the punter out

Party mis-graded a loser giving me the win and let me keep the winnings after I told them.

If I know a book wont compensate me, the only time I report it is if its game I want to bet on, so I dont bet into a bad line

I regularly report bad lines and past-posted games....especially at heritage. Unfortunately it seems like a common theme there. For instance just this past weeknd they had a european bball game where they had a side as +12.5 when it should have been -12.5. Thats a huge swing. Called them up and was corrected within minutes. Last week I even had a French bball game that they graded as a winner.....problem is it was still in the 3rd qtr. Called up and advised them. My bet ended up being a loser. Examples go on and on.
To OP point most books generally do not show appreciation, other times they even seem like your inconveniencing them, either way they certianly dont offer to compensate, but its all good. Its the right thing to do and most books, like heritage, etc have always been good to me.

That is the sport I notice it the most on. I tried telling multiple people and it's still an issue with European Basketball leagues. I think it's the fact that they offer so many lines and things just fall through the cracks in the smaller leagues. Also a big factor is we are talking many time zone differences between the leagues...that doesn't help matters. It seems we are in the minority for reporting mistakes we see. Apparently we should hate Heritage and not report them!
I seem to always get "Patty" on live chat and she always seems appreciative that I am pointing it out.
