    Sure. Go ahead.

But if you make a 3rd or 4th thread with virtually the same post screaming hysteria about it being illegal and inserting things into your CPU like LEOLEO has, and been warned about, it would be deleted too.

There is already a sensible discussion of it in another thread and as i have explained its a bit of a fine line when talking about it that we train people with nefarious intent how to get around security systems.

Is it really a big deal? I thought it was explained pretty well last time we discussed.

To a point it was but I for one still don't know enough about what they are able to use it for and are able to learn about me.

Also which sites are installing these things on our systems?

I don't really know but I think you can safely assume every large book uses it or a competitors version of it.

Here is an Iovation company press release about Sportsbook.com and Betonline and 6 others joining up. It might be helpful to look at to give you an idea of the "selling points" of the service.

          Thanks.

That probably helps explain why so many players such as I have been denied decent service before even placing a bet or after so very few bets.

And I've never done or even attempted anything fraudulent at all. So despite the justifications they sprout for their product I very strongly suspect they're also using it to share information about perfectly legitimate customers who've done nothing more than demonstrate some talent.

            Hareeba you're too paranoid

Fraud is running rampant on these websites and I am glad they're using such strong protection

I'm okay with them protecting themselves against fraud but if it's going beyond that it's illegal breach of privacy.

How can you be sure that's not happening?

I dont think iesnare is all about fraud prevention either.

If sites want to stop fraud, they would ask for verification before you're even allowed to deposit

Yeah I feel same way, if this was just about in house fraud protection I would have no problem with it. Books are able to share information based on your IP any problems they may have had with you as a customer. Going back on a charge, arbitrage betting or other reasons for shutdown. This is why a lot of people will experience signing up at a book and being limited before they even make a wager.

Hareeba - this is old news, its been around for at least 5-6 years, probably more, I cant remember exactly. Easy to disable and avoid these systems coming back. However be warned, some software will trace your MAC number (I think thats what its called), which is hardware related. To get around this I have to buy new machines and devices about every 6-8 months. I think you can guess why I do this and no need to go into the detail.
