    5Dimes (Un)ordered Listing of Wagers
Hi all. After being away for a couple years, I'm about to put some funds in a book before the US football and basketball season. I was last with 5Dimes and given the praise of 5Dimes here, I tend to favor refunding my account with them. (And I do like the reduced juice.) However, their website drives me crazy. I have worked through most of what I consider their eccentricities, but one thing remains that still baffles me. In the listing of their college football (and NFL, NBA, college basketball, etc.) wagers, there seems to be no sense of order. Every book I've ever worked with (although I haven't seen them all) put the wagers in chronological order. That way I can find the games I want to bet on easier and if I want to just bet on the next game about to kickoff, those games are at the top. But with 5Dimes, the wagers are in no particular order that I can distinguish. Even if the bet were in some sort of alphabetical order, that would help some. Am I overlooking something here? Am I the only one that thinks this is insane from a top-notch sportsbook? Thanks for reading my rant.

I am not saying i like the order, but most books list in the same exact order 5dimes does.

list of games is by rotation number. used by most. sometimes you can see games in order of time they start at other books. some books let you decide how you want to view games. also 5dimes uses rotation number for live betting where almost everyone else uses order of time they start for live betting. rotation seems easier before the game starts but placing games in order of time they start is easier when it is live betting. if you are in the US you can't do better than 5dimes.

Indeed rotation # listings are fairly standard. You can also choose to show ROTs on SBR Odds.

        Thank you for your feedback.

Most books are like that but I agree. Who the hell looks at rotation number? This ain't 1990. Put it by time. Most gamblers just want to bet on the next game available.

Pretty sure you don't really need rotation numbers unless you're in Vegas betting at a sportsbook

Yes 5d can get a little confusing but if you're only needing hoops and football just tick those particular sports

They just stated this new thing called "wager writer"
has a "about to go off" feature that let's you know what sport events are coming up.
Added it to my home screen on my iPhone

Wow....I don't even know what a "rotation number" is. What significance does it have and why does anyone use it? Is it something I can use to find a specific game more quickly when there are 50+ college football games listed on Saturday? I can learn something new - it doesn't have to be chronological - but why wouldn't a book want the bettor to easily find a game quickly? Maybe a few more bets would go off for those putting in last second bets. Not to mention the aggravation. Am I missing something here?

5Dimes plans to release an updated betting cart with an updated look & feel next week. SBR will cover the software tweak in a news review at that time.

I never have trouble locating football game I want. I study line moves all week, several times a day. I always know where the game is at on the schedule.
