Giants/Cubs rain shortened game - Giants win appeal!
Apparently the Giants won their appeal of yesterday's rain shortened 2-0 loss, due to the inept Chicago grounds crew with tarp issues.

What are the betting ramifications, when bets were already graded? Will the sportsbook reopen these graded wagers, due to this Giants appeal victory? Game will be finished 4pm tomorrow, with the Cubs up 2-0 in the middle of the 5th.

No, books do not recognize overturned decisions after games are deemed final on the field.

      This.

All offshore books will keep the original 2-0 for grading purposes. This is the standard rule.

Don't most books grade a game that is called off/whatever at the first 5 innings anyway?

I remember some weeks ago some US bookie graded Celtic-Legia game as per official result 3:0 given by UEFA,same book should follow their idiotic rule for this match too.

Appeals are rarely won, so this ruling screwed Giant backers. Since Giant bettors have no gambling body to protest a graded loss, they are left rooting that Cubs end up holding on and win the game.

I also hope every single member of that Cub grounds crew is fired.
