    GTBets
Added by SBR: GTbets has provided proof to SBRthat the player's losing deposit was refunded. Unfortunately, it may be a case that the deposit method was one the player does not have ownership of.
    ________________________

To update on a previous complaint, I made a deposit with GTBets and after a week was told they would refund my deposit amount as I had not sent in the requested paperwork yet .To cut to the chase on July 1st GTbets tells me they have refunded my deposit and it will take a couple weeks for the funds to appear on my CC. 2 weeks pass nothing, 3 weeks pass still nothing. I question them about it and they simply keep telling me to give it time. They keep telling me to check my account and call the bank to get it cleared up. I continually check my account online and call them several times a week all the way up to today and the bank has continously told me no one has requested such a transaction on my account to cancel the charges. Finally after a month I file a complain with SBR and SBR doesn't get anywhere and SBR simply tells me they will eventually pay me. At this point its obvious to me the funds were never refunded and GTBets is simply trying to continue buying themselves time. I finally get in contact with a manager at GTBets and he requests a copy of my CC statement to make sure the funds weren't refunded. I send in a copy of my CC statement with all the charges and it clearly shows up to date that I was never refunded the amount. Once the manager sees the statement proving him wrong once again I get the following message "Our broker has confirmed that the charges definitely have been credited to your depositing account. At this point in time, you must work with your bank, as our business relationship is over and we are no longer able to assist you any further. " They tell me they will no longer talk to me as this is no longer their issue. So basically they are telling me to talk to my bank about a transaction they never made to begin with.

Pathetic showing for a sportsbook that is rated B by SBR. Obviously the funds were never refunded to begin with and I would rather they openly tell me their not gonna pay me or completely ignore me, instead of lying about every little thing and continously trying to buy themselves time and hoping I would leave them alone. At this point it is obvious I will not be getting paid and would like to warn everyone else to stay away from them.

and the funny thing is they were the ones that requested refunding my deposit back, I never actually requested it.

yes I had lost a large chunk of the deposit however this is not an issue as I was told they would refund my full deposit amount. GTBets also confirmed this and told me they would be refunding my full deposit amount. I understand they did not have to refund the full amount however they personally stated that management had decided they would refund my full deposit amount, the amount was never an issue, the main problem is that I haven't received the refund they have promised and have continuously told me they have already processed.

            why you deserve a refund?

i understand they said they giving you one but my point is your Original post 1st thread sure left out ton of info.

its weird a guy loses bet and gets money back

then bitches it might take a few more weeks

hell i would be excited just to be gettting it back.

to be honest it makes no sense to me for them to refund you.

again i felt bad for you after the 1st story you posted

as it sounded like someone sharp beat up a bonus book and was being slow paid

when that was farthest from the truth

              thats my point.

hard to feel bad for you now.

I didn't request a refund the sportsbook is the 1 that initiated the refund and told me they would refund my initial deposit amount. I originally left this out as it is a non issue as the sportsbook did not make an issue of it and said they would refund the original deposit amount regardless. And of course I'm gonna make a fuss when it takes over 3 weeks for the funds to show up in my account when the sportsbook says 2 weeks max. The sportsbook agreed to refund me the deposit and even though they keep telling me they have refunded it the funds are still not in my account.

"not only have they limited me after a week of action but they also have still not payed out my funds even though its been over 3 weeks since my account was closed"

that sounded like you were beating em up and winning bets

                  lol

i guess leaving out the part where you lost was not important

again I did nothing wrong, its the sportsbook that agreed to refund my deposit and they continue telling me they have refunded the amount when in reality they haven't and I have shown proof to them that the funds were not refunded. If they had not consistently told me they would refund my original deposit amount I would not be going after them.

The main reason i did not sign up with GT is the "we can void all winnings if..." clause.

Any book that voids winnings if they "think you are professional".... Wow man, that is shady. Not all books are like this. Could you imagine getting an e-mail from bookmaker stating your winnings have been voided????

GT wants losers only, that's why my business was declined. So anyone playing there is a loser. However, CourtesyWipe will post soon defending this garbage book.

once again GTBets shows it is a reliable 2nd tier outfit.

just logged on to the rewards area of gtbets to a nice surprise.
forgot about their birthday reward every year.
my birthday was over 3 months ago there was 50,000 reward points
waiting for me. can take $50 cash for betting or receive prizes.
took the $50 cash - no rollover for rewards.
so if you have a gtbets account this is something to remember.
it's one of the traditions they kept from VIP days.
