What I struggle with is why do they charge it

It's only a exchange between customers they still get there commission on your winning bets

1. they want to earn more and more money, who on earth doesnt want the same?
2. they use own bots to trade for same reason

Nowhere will you find I've ever claimed any such thing.
But you're right, I don't need to pay any bookie charges. So I don't.
It really isn't at all hard to avoid them if you don't live in the US.
