Hopefully the court case will make the authorities investigate any 'hidden assets' that can be seized and used to compensate creditors & those who are owed money, still its a long shot and I wouldnt hold to much hope, but yer never know and its not over till the fat ladys sings (Or should that read robbing greek barstardo).
Still, it seems to be taking an age to bring this case forward for trial.

guys i am afraid i have bad news...goldvictory owner suffering from cancer and is in a bad situation...i dont know details this is all i know and i was also noticed that goldvictory was a profitable company however this guy was gamler spending in casino thousands of euro every night as result to lose all his fortune and dont pay even the stuff of gv....

No reason to dispute what you are saying, in that he is very ill, but it would'nt be the first time someone had feigned or exagerated a serious medical condition to get the sympathy of the courts, If he bites the dust, then we know he has been in poor health and he can write..........'I told you I was really ill' on his headstone.

However without sounding harsh or a bit cruel, only time will tell if this a another poor attempt at a charade/deception, and if he really does peg it, then ce la vie, but he still owes alot of people money and the GV staff their unpaid wages.

There is still an investigation to be carried out into his activities, and if there are any assets left that he has'nt blown, then they should be shared out to all that were ripped off, what seems a bit more likely is that there is nothing left to repay creditors (that has not been hidden away already) so dont hold your breath for any money, but at the same time nobody should completely give up on it until all the facts are known officially, so keep up the pressure just in case.

That's the problem right there - SBR works because it can put pressure on books, risking their future income with a downgrade or bad publicity.

In this case goldvictory no longer exists, so there's nothing to put pressure on.

You have completely right, I see that SBR is not really efficient to protect customers from bookmakers.

But we really need that Goldvictory Case stay on the light to have a little chance to have news about it and to know what finally happen to this trial even if we have no real chance to be defended.

So hold on, don t give up friends and we need to continue to talk about....

There's nothing that SBR can do. They succeed by placing pressure on sportsbooks who care about their reputation with players; there is no sportsbook here any more. Your chances for recovering any funds start with the outcome of court hearings, but even then...

Let's make massive complaints to LGA they have to inform us about the trial and about our money because they were the regulator of Gold Victory, they gave them their license to operate, they have responsabilities in this matter.

That won't achieve anything.

Perhaps we need to get a group of customers together, a large enough number, and contact the government department above the LGA? Obviously individual complaints are usually ignored by government, but a large number might not be. Such a group could also contact Maltese newspapers.....

Anyone interested? Most people would just need sign up, maybe need 4 or 5 people to do some work contacting/organising etc.

Count me in I think thats a great idea, even if we are just using SBR as a focal point for contact, a group of people will hopefully focus the relevant authority to act on the complaint and at least supply information to what is actually taking place.

My comment was the most constructive comment in the thread. I have money with them too. I could waste my time in futile pursuits or I can move on.

All you guys seem to be doing is trying to get SOMEONE ELSE to write a letter for you. If you do manage to find someone else to do the work for you it will have no effect.

The situation is clearly causing you stress. As unpleasant as the advice is you need to MOVE ON
