picture of yourself holding your ID next to your face
I've heard that Bet365 and BWin have sometimes requested this.
Are there any other books?
Just curious.

Cannot really think of a reason why a list like this needs to be compiled, unless identity fraud/ghosting/etc is planned

It's a common request at places where the first round of verification hits a snag, or there are other factors.

Holy sh*t! You can't be serious. It's getting common? It sucks. It's against human rights. Books should not treat you like a criminal, holding your ID next to your face, it's ridicilious!
Ah, I know the reason. We fukked them so bad, lol

Once Tipico asked a photo of mine holding my ID next to my face. I sent them the photo, withdrawed all my money and then sent another photo, holding my ID next to my d*ck. They closed my account right away.

Its a very bad idea. Whoever gets a hold of the picture of you holding your I.D. can try to use that picture to scam you big time.
They call your bank, Neteller, etc. and try to swindle their way into your account with your funds.
"Oh I can prove it's me I'll send you a picture of myself holding my I.D.".
some stupid customer service agent will give them access to your account in no time thinking it's obviously a legit picture.

Good point. Another option would be for them to check your id via skype.

This is so dangerous !!!,Those customer service agents can easly treat you with that photo.I would never send them a photo of mine holding my ID next to my face.So I will never play with this bookmaker that can treat me anytime.
So what will they want next time ? maybe holding your ID next to your a.s
